There is the OpenBoard fork:
https://github.com/Helium314/openboard
FlorisBoard hasn't had official updates in ages but beta builds are still worked on:

I know there are others too. Some also use a real keyboard app and disable Network access.
OpenBoard is my favorite.
I have to add this to my list.
It's been two years since ASK received an update. Are you concerned about this?

nostr:npub1tr4dstaptd2sp98h7hlysp8qle6mw7wmauhfkgz3rmxdd8ndprusnw2y5g I don’t think this is a fair characterization of what’s being built here. Most of the apps running on the Nostr protocol are less than a year old and have barely even gotten off the ground. Bitcoin took multiple years before people outside some very limited circles began to take notice. This is a FOSS protocol that has a passionate developer community, not to mention a user base that has no desire to go back to corporate social media. Give it time before trashing it, please.
I want to at least get his reasons. I haven't seen a Nostr problem that someone isn't working on fixing.
I recently found this channel and I've been binge watching. I'm looking for other recommendations too.

This is the case in the latest version of Primal for Android. I would tag the but I can't. We're so early. I know the developers across Nostr are overworked and underpaid relative to the value they are creating.
A part of me wishes I practiced good password management back then. My character is somewhere waiting to fish and hodling a rune scimmy.
I'm listening (reading).
I wish TIP would create a seperate feed for nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z's Bitcoin podcasts.
The latest nostr:npub1svc42r2de9sadr7anh7lmdhmt2mnvehnsaawkdrggmj5x73c28aq62a9g9 episode taught me that Americans are speaking English in the least fun way possible.
An American hero.
You could try Tails right now if you have a spare USB. It's really not difficult to adjust to. The popular Linux distros are close to the ease of use of the mainstream closed source alternatives.
Fedora is on the cutting edge. Qubes isn't technically Linux but that's probably where you want to look. nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka could probably give you some more insight.
Ubuntu, Pop OS, or Fedora since there will be plenty of docs or people to help you.
I agree. I use https://github.com/deckerst/aves
I've been on Graphene for years and I regret not doing it sooner. Knowledge is power.
