Before, you had to argue, and based on the soundness of your premises, you could approximate epistemological truth. Nostr is a protocol for computers to talk to each other. Damus implements a user interface for you to send messages that relays understand. I'm using Amethyst and can read you messages from damus because they both read and publish messages that stick to the instructions of the protocol.
