I'd only worry about the whales, getting our fellow folks on board is only gonna minimize/ distribute the risk of state attacks on individual bitcoiners

Whenever I mention bitcoin to normies, there is always a binary response.

- "wish I bought in earlier, it's too late!"

- "Bitcoin is bubble/scam/climate change blah blah"

In both cases I just agree with them and stack harder myself.

I never try orange pill people anymore.

More coins for us.

nah, if you talk to people the right way, they are pretty open to learn (in my experience)

the whole adoption process is about awareness, so we better take some self responsibility for our failed orangepilling efforts and train our persuasion skills as early as possible

Something fascinating I've begun to notice on #Nostr is that good content that is old, shows back up more often than on Twitter.

Twitter does so much to suppress anything that isn't new to incentivize the addictiveness and feeling that without it you don't know what's going on, that I hadn't even thought about it until i realized i was seeing older posts that were just still slowly circulating even after months. I wonder if this will have a meaningful impact in some way about how we interact with it? 🤔

I find nostr to be almost as addictive as twitter.

But you are right imo, the better we get with the ranking systems for content and keys, the more focused and concise you can keep your interactions with nostr!

I hope someone implements scoring from 0-100🙏

Loving heavy metal since my youth but cannot listen to it for long anymore, brings down my state eventhough I am full-passion-immersed in the melodies and rhythms. I wish the artistic talent would be channeled onto more wholesome harmonies, like here:

I think #journaling is quite underrated.

Don’t here much about it, but our mind is made to „create ideas“ and not to „keep“ them necessarily.

This lady was clearly having mental issues, so I'd opt for different template if possible. Some people really aren't prepared to deal with the full onslaught of the Internet when these memes catch on.

Imgflip has a bunch of templates that likely won't cause this lady more mental anguish.
