Alright, looking into getting a freeze dryer and noticed that Harvest Right has a lot of bad recent reviews. Is this just because they got popular and people are expecting it to be like a washing machine or is it legit problems? What other home freeze dryer brands are there?

Deck I’ve been working on as my side hustle, coming along nicely. Started in October (generally only work on it when I don’t have work at my day job, so weekends and slow weeks)
Finish shaping and sanding and oiled.

Rough shaping of a spurtle I’m making today.

Did a little fiddling around with some scrap 2x4 today, made a little spatula/scraper for the cast iron (we basically replaced all our nonstick with cast iron this week).
Also, you don’t need a bench top belt sander when you have a cordless sander and a vice lol

It’s a heavy read (or listen in my case), and so is Fiat Standard. I can’t wait for Principles, though.
It’s funny, I listen while I work. it makes mindless stuff like painting almost bearable, but when I get into measuring and cutting, I have to switch to music, where it doesn’t matter if I stop paying attention.
Been trying to figure out how to keep my most common bits in my tool belt without them getting lost in a pocket (my screwdrivers also use impact bits so they come in handy for it also) and finall the other day it dawned on me, my tobacco tins work perfect
Couple months back I spent about 20 days working on a terracing job for a local ag center, one of my favorite projects to date.

I’m big on composting, I put everything in my bins and have a small worm bin also. For cardboard and paper I run them through a shredder. If you decide to get a shredder for that, go ahead and get one of the big 24 sheet shredders, otherwise the cardboard will burn it up in about a month lol
Air plants are really cool in my book. We’ve got several indoor plants and several outdoor potted plants not in the picture. One day I hope to have a greenhouse and sell plants and furniture I build lol
Not necessarily. One day everyone will likely use Bitcoin, but that doesn’t make one a Bitcoiner. Just because grandma’s phone runs over the internet doesn’t mean she’s a web surfer, ya know?
Spent Saturday with my wife, my 7 month old, and good friends planting all kinds of herbs and some veggies. This is only a temporary residence, but with the second youngin on the way we’ll be here longer than we had intended.
Picked up those two raised beds and a potting bench from Lidl for prices low enough that I couldn’t build them for the same money (what I would have built would have likely been much more aesthetically pleasing but I have too many projects already, I’ll build nicer things later to replace or expand these).
And yes, that is 5 gallon buckets and unused small trash cans as pots. They have okra seeds, like 5 different varieties, because my wife loves okra so I grabbed all the kinds I saw lol
They’ll say it was difficulties encountered while trying to get ready to switch to FedNow.
I’m a worm farmer, mothafucka!
