I have fire ants. My worms are in a storage tote that I put a drain in. I needed height anyway to get a bucket under the drain and to help minimize ants, so I set it on top of an old end table I had laying around and set the table legs in a trash can lid. If I get ants coming up the table I pour some waste oil from doing my own oil changes on the lid and that pretty much keeps them away
Date night with the ol’ lady lol
Thank you for reminding that I need to make some wedges…part of my normal job is doing moves for a local county which inevitably involves moving big ass desks through multiple doors…and there’s never any doorstops lol
Dammit, forgot the pic again
One of my most used tools, I see it very rarely on anybody else’s belt but it’s literally indispensable and irreplaceable in my mind, a simple 2-ish inch 5n1 tool. Scraper, pry bar, shim, digger, shaver, non-marring knocker, I use this thing for all kinds of random shit. What’s in your top tool list?

Back in the #FiatMines, working on this damn fascia (I simultaneously love and hate what I call “trim” or “detail” work)

I’m using food sage mineral oil to handle the sealing, though I plan on getting some pure Tung oil at some point to take over that job, I’ve seen some videos where it seems to resist temperature better.
And honestly I think these pieces were from when I built the rack for my gas cans, but it really could’ve been anything lol. I tend to hold on to any piece 2ft or longer lol.
I have never heard of…Meranti, was it?
Yeah, I was thinking that might be the case too, but we’ll see. We’ve got a few uses on the first spatula I made with the cast iron and no noticeable degradation.
Playing around with my bandsaw and some crap 2x4, making some rough cuts of some wooden utensils. Still not sure whether pine is really useful as a utensil but I figure might as well use these scraps for something.

Exactly, and that’s what I try to get through to him. Time and place. He’s still young though lol
*in best senator palpating impersonation* Deweht.
I personally would guess the leaves in the middle are comfrey. Could be wrong but it looks like comfrey at home lol
I bet lol i got a buddy that worries himself to death about trying to make pretty welds, and he’s not getting paid either it’s just our little Kustom projects, and I have to constantly remind him that’s what grinders are for lol
Just remember, that’s a skilled trade. I’m interested to see how it turns out honestly. One of these days I’d like to learn how to do it too.
All that’s left is to let the glue dry so I can clean and seal it and then I can head home
