We made the mistake of buying a Samsung oven last year. It tried to set the house on fire 3 days after we took delivery/install.

Shoes/boots.

Cheap hand tools.

Furniture.

Possibly clothes too. Yeah, we’ve got very affordable cheap clothes now and I get like a decade out of a simple t-shirt, but stuff like wool is crazy expensive.

That’s one outfit I’ll never forgive my German ancestors for lol

I get the apron part, I just ain’t a big fan of cordura for work. I’ve spent plenty of time in it for other shenanigans though lol I’ve also torn up a shitload of it.

I’m finding myself returning to my roots of enjoying the feel and fit of good leather more and more. I won’t be switching to a leather gun holster cause Kydex just makes far more sense, but I’m finding excuses to go thick leather for everything else lol

Back on the job, trying to take it slow. Setup and rocking the Occidental Leather Suspenders and so far loving them. Low profile, comfy, supportive, all good things for a young man turning old lol

Still on light duty, but I’m getting caught up on some smaller projects around home, like my dash in the pathfinder which has been open and all the switches dangling for like 6 months or better….just slapping in some pieces of kryptek mandrake Kydex with some self tappers so my switches don’t dangle no mo lol

Been down and out the last couple days with a pulled back. Thought I was gonna be good to go today but woke up at 6 and decided it was probably a good idea to take another day. So, I’m just gonna run the errands I put off all weekend and call that that.

On a good note it meant a lot of time with the youngin and also an entire day of watching Essential Craftsman on YouTube lol
