I checked all my wallet settings, everything seems normal. Chalk it up to growing pains lol
Thanks bro! Yeah, especially this first week, trying to get a new normal going.
They’ll just get bailed out again for being “too big to fail” cause god knows people gots to have their new cars with the kill switch and mandated spyware.
Forgot to list what all they have lol
Serenity does food pouches (meats, veggies and blends), smoothies where it’s veggies and fruit, several flavors of veggie puffs no grains. I think I’m probably forgetting something but that’s the things we kept for our daughter and will keep for the new daughter lol
Serenity kids. Stuff ain’t cheap but our first daughter loved it until she could start eating solid foods (which we started earlier than most). They emphasize meat fats and regenerative ag practices. Have a little reward program that’s kinda neat. Buying stuff on the subscription works really well and you can basically manipulate the subscription however you want. It’s the best stuff I’ve been able to find yet.
Thanks!! Lots of estrogen gonna be floating around in this house. I’m just hoping at least one of them decides she likes helping me in the shop lol
Thank you!! It was a wild ride yesterday morning! This was our second homebirth but Boston took 3 hours after the water broke so we weren’t expecting it to happen so fast lol
Officialy a father of 2 under 2 for 24 hours. Thank god for a good mother in law. Next few years are gonna be wild as hell lol.
Lucie Rachel, born yesterday morning at home. Healthy, happy 9lb 12 oz. Pretty sure my wife, as my buddy said, has first place for the speed birth contest. From water breaking to free baby in 7 minutes. Mother in law actually caught her (and I mean full on catch, it was perfect) and doula did a great job catching the video.
Bo seems interested in her but not jealous. She has yet to lose her mind that somebody was holding Lucie instead of her so we’re super thankful for that.

Sorry for the double post lol
I appreciate the appreciation. I mostly just post the stuff because it helps me stay on track and not get off on another new project lol. If you couldn’t tell, I have too many ideas and too much time to come up with them.
To satiate some curiosity, my filter system will be relatively simple. I have the Bauer 20v/120v transfer pump which will have some kind of screen or cheesecloth over the intake to mitigate large debris. It will then push the waste oil into a fuel filter/water separator, which will be the ones I replace on the truck itself (coming off the truck and going on the filter system, just to save me some moneys). The fuel filter filters down to 14 micron and of course pulls out any water. From there it’ll go to a simple whole house sediment filter which filters particles down to 5 micron, and from there it’ll go into either a clean jug (oil jugs from changes) or straight into the tank. I’ll be connecting the two filters with 3/4 pvc so I have something solid to hold on to while pumping. Some folks filter down to 1 micron out of an abundance of caution but the factory fuel filter is only 14 micron so I figure 5 oughta be a plenty.
All in the components have cost me about $70 not including the transfer pump, which is only about $100 when on sale. I have 3 vehicles including the one diesel so I have a fairly large amount of waste oil, and I have a couple buddies that tend to keep their waste oil as well (we all use it for treating wooden tool handles and other such things like fences or trailer boards) and they tend to accumulate it faster than they use it. My one buddy probably had 30 gallons waiting for me.
I intend to only run a few gallons per tank of diesel, mostly just so I don’t have to keep buying $13 bottles of diesel kleen lol

Gathered all my components to make a filter system for my waste oil so as to use it as a fuel additive for my inherited 7.3 diesel, and lo and behold I forgot I had to throw away my pvc glue last year because it had dried up in the can. I think I’m
Gonna have to vacuum seal this new can once I use it for this project because it’ll probably be 3 years before I need it again and I’m tired of buying the shit lol.
Also on the agenda today, I cut a couple pieces of plywood last night to stretch across the bed rails of the truck. Going to coat those in waste oil here in just a few and then at some point bolt them to the truck just behind the cab and grab some of the Milwaukee packout mounting plates and a packout cabinet on each side as a quick way to have tool storage. I did the math and I’ll be spending about the same money as if I went and bought some truck boxes, but this way if/when I get around to building my flatbed dream I can reuse the mounting plates and packout boxes instead of having truck boxes laying around.

7.3 IDI master race. Got all my components together just yesterday to start filtering waste oil as a fuel additive cause ULSD ain’t shit.
No that’s the thing, I do understand it all. I spend most of my
Time in the gray market, but in central NC I’m an outlier. I’ve not seen a single Bitcoin ATM within an hour of me. The gray markets here use USD.
It’s more about picking your own battles and giving your child room to pick their battles. My daughters may grow up and think I was coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs and had I not done what I did resent me for the fact that they now had to struggle to get the credentials they needed for a job.
I also come at this from knowing the experience of someone who was born to parents working undercover for the state dept, and the trouble they had to get his ID’s after they were back to normal living. It’s not a simple task. We did homebirth, we’re doing homeschool, she’ll have all the options, but that cross to bear isn’t for me to choose for her.
While I would love to have not registered my kid with social security, one must also consider how hard of a challenge that would be. One day maybe we can live without such numbering systems, but right now it isn’t easily feasible. Will I explain the evils of this shit to my kids? Absolutely. If they can find a way around it as they approach adulthood then I’ll be happy, but I didn’t feel right saddling my child with that burden.
The older I get and the more reading I do, the more I think that some of the USA’s “founding fathers” were selfish pricks lol. Patrick Henry seems to have truly been an idealist, and so did James Madison. George Washington can go get fucked, though.
