Yes, but I’ve slowed way down on the handyman work, at least for now. Still got everything setup and waiting to get to it, but between my wife volunteering at the pregnancy center and projects around the house and the amount of overtime I get at this new job, it just ain’t been worth trying to do. My main customer has also pretty well driven me crazy, hopping from project to project and severely underestimating timelines for those projects even after I tell her what kind of timeline she can expect lol

Yeah I’m a couple episodes in and so far it’s been far better than I expected

Got a headache rack with a chain rack made for the utility bed, along with handles for climbing in the bed that double as hangers, and a new fuel fill pocket as well as extending both fuel filler necks to fit. Unfortunately I forgot pics of everything but the headache rack lol

Yeah it was pretty great. It was a weekend firefighting school, there was like 5 of us from my department and probably 40 or more total from my county, one of our 5 went for a smoke break and came back to find a Smirnoff ice. Whole bar side starting chanting “Chug it” and then this little 5 ft nothin bald headed scared manager came out and said we had to leave cause “there’s families over there!” And we were like “ok, we’ll pay and get gone but we need a check”. Took ‘em 45 minutes to get us a damn check, we kept up our pace the whole time lol

Yeah, people who take their families to a bar and then are shocked when bar things happen are hilarious. Me and the boys got kicked out of an Applebees at 9pm on a Friday lol

While not a podcast, you might enjoy the Monster Hunters International book series. Be forewarned, it’s written by a gun nerd, so if you’re not into guns some parts may be a bit boring to you, but it lends a level of realism that lacks from most authors(I myself being a gun nerd wish most authors not familiar with guns would just skip their details lol)

Yeah doing good, just been trying to adjust to my new schedule and learn new skills lol

Been busy! Started new job calibrating scales at the end of January, then got the hand foot mouth plague and that took me out for a whole week. Still dealing with my skin peeling from where the blisters were, which also happens to mean I’ve lost all my calluses. Anyway, been at a plant testing all their silo scales, here’s some pics of the rigging we have to set up in order to pick up the 6000lbs of test weights.
