There's an app (at least on Android) called "BLE scanner" that will let you see if both are advertising and what as.

Another called "nRF Connect" let's you connect and sent/receive data, once you have determined they're advertising.

Intriguing idea. Without researching at all I guess bitchat is open source and so is reticulum so why not.

Then the benefits would be the network effect of Jack with bitchat and the physical reach of lora

I guess so, the main difference being Bitchat uses Bluetooth whilst Reticulum is radio agnostic so it can use Lora, giving the longer range.

And it's ok not to know.

I had a similar shower thought recently: I've spent most of my life being wrong, and I hope to continue learning for the rest of my life.

Guna cruise my morning with that album on :-)

Coco Bryce makes jungle and hardcore and runs a small label. He's got tons of stuff on Bandcamp, this is a mix he's done I keep going back to https://youtu.be/SN5VEyS-Ao0

I may have misunderstood the note I read https://nostter.app/nevent1qqsr37n6p6kcqsln0v7gde6lgnyudee8nnyzhnja0w4hr9wvqyz33wclvawmu

I'm not attacking you or your project, you're an inspiration. I'm trying to share information, not increase animosity.

There is a known issue with Knots in that after 2 years it needs restarting otherwise your node won't follow the main chain. You of course need to know this if you're intending to make money off mining.

Knots is maintained by a single developer so please be wary of what's on your miners.

I'm on no side (Core vs Knots) but there is a healthy debate currently happening.

Depends what for.

For watching an advert maybe 100.

For a 1-2-1 meeting maybe 1000.

Good luck, hopefully it doesn't collapse this year!
