Jack is a weak man. If Nostrs somehow depends on him, it's doomed. But you're right; freedom doesn't mean that anyone has the right to demand that others do things they consider right. As such, I fall silent. I am just a girl. If I were in your position, I would continue developing Nostrs as a Bitcoin community. Typically, when something needs to be started, there are no doubts about it. Moreover, starting to develop this not solely as a Bitcoin community might still be feasible over time. Perhaps during this period, a deeper understanding will emerge regarding what should be done.

Derek, who are the Nostriches? What is the philosophy of Nostr?

When I joined, I had very little idea that it's a Bitcoiners' community, but I had no doubts that it's all about freedom. Sadly, my confidence in this idea of freedom and Nostr diminishes with each passing day, and today might be the culmination of that uncertainty. Just now, Jack reposted the words: 'I’m not on Nostr for a following. I’m on Nostr for freedom.' I checked the profile of that person on X and learned that it's okay to come to Nostr for freedom, while supporting X with the blue mark and earning money from it. I doubt Jack is not aware of that. It's a relief to see that not all key figures of Nostr have blue checkmarks, though.

So, to answer your questions, whatever path you will take, please, don't build it on hypocrisy. If it's not killing it already, it will start eventually, unless I am still clueless about what Nostr is.

Would I be allowed to pet the lion, or would I need to sit like the man in the picture to earn 100 thousand?

One day, when Elon decides to rename Mars as X, I'll find myself on his side once more, until death do us part

How much lower will it go?

I like Bitcoin because its mining involves electricity, the nature of which we don't fully comprehend.

Freedom is unattainable unless understood as a process. Bitcoin has little to do with it.

It's all beautifully and accurately said, but that's not all of it. When the initial enchantment wears off, you realize that you are in the Bitcoin community where a particular understanding of freedom prevails.

I hope more people will be joining, as it's a unique opportunity to build other communities based on the principles Derek has mentioned, which alone might unite us.

Sadly, I think that currently, most people simply leave when they realize that it's primarily the Bitcoin community so far, without recognizing an opportunity.

'everything is accepted here' most certainly, but it still is a Bitcoin community. Not being into Bitcoin to some extent feels the same as not being verified on X

A veil rather resembles a net

Will artificial intelligence replace the judicial system one day?

But still watch with sound below

It seems like she's not aware that she's holding a cigarette and is supposed to take another drag soon

Could it be that you confuse the ability to say "no" with the idea that you owe nothing to anyone?

As you were typing that, I was just about done putting together the movie stills from 'Despair' (1978), if it matters

Adding a few more movie stills from 'Despair' (1978). Notice an illustration of Pushkin's 'The Bronze Horseman' poem

"Despair," a 1978 film directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and starring Dirk Bogarde, is an adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's 1934 novel of the same name
