BTC 100% and going down the Lightning and Golang rabbit hole.

Yep. 401Ks are forced scam upon everyday workers. One does have the choice of opting out of the 401K upon employment. The other bullshit money thing about 401k is why would one want to defer their today tax dollars for higher tax amount in the future.

The whole retirement system went to shit in the mid 80s.

Bottom line though is that people need to wake up and understand all aspects of how money works.

If possible one should try to avoid W2 employment and go with 1099 contact work and put your retirement savings into BTC.

. nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 has a lot of awesome nostr projects that don’t get enough attention:

- khatru: super modular relay library. Can be used to build lots of cool relay experients such as https://pyramid.fiatjaf.com

- Eventstore: an abstraction around nostr databases, one backend is very similar to nostrdb/lmdb called badger https://github.com/fiatjaf/eventstore

- njump: cool static note renderer that uses eventstore as its database https://github.com/fiatjaf/njump

- Nostr-tools: the swiss army knife of nostr javascript libraries https://github.com/nbd-wtf/nostr-tools

- Nak: command line tool for creating nostr events and bech32 nostr objects (nevent, nprofile) https://github.com/fiatjaf/nak

- wikistr: a wikipedia-style nostr client https://github.com/fiatjaf/wikistr

he doesn’t always like being in the spotlight but the work he does is some of the most important for the overall health of the protocol. thank you fiatjaf! Excited for what’s in store for next year 🎉

The key thing to understand is why LN exists in the first place. On layer 1 (BTC blockchain), for large transactions there are no concerns with transaction fees. For smaller transactions like buying a candy bar or a cup of coffee, the transaction fee will likely be higher than the item being purchased. So small transactions do not make sense on layer 1.

Lightning Network is there to support small transactions and the transaction fee is so small it not worth considering. This is a layer 2 protocol. Funds must be transferred from a layer 1 wallet to a layer 2 wallet.

Wait there is one more layer to consider. Layer 3 'ecash'. Biggest reason for layer 3 (ecash) is privacy.

For the most part, all layer 2 and layer 3 software is in beta mode and everyone is warned not to store large amounts in these developing solutions.

Great! When the time is right, do you plan on posting how one can implement it? Thanks!!

Running Ghost Addresses...

That was incredibly simple, nostr:npub19tcpurtt6xulhw0r6sc404j9jraj0h8me2lzs7z2tqewz7l0hpas59nlea ⚡👻 And, I didn't have to opt-in to any of the other Amboss services. Thank you.

limited-azure-lizard@ghst.to works great!

I will keep using my pay@derekross.me address, but this is an extremely viable solution. Every home node runner that has wanted to setup LN addresses should look into doing this, if they're not comfortable with the technical hurdles of running your own LN address infrastructure.

I'll have to go back and see if I can get ThunderHub to work.

My last attempt about a year ago it failed to compile without errors on Linux.

Seems like ecash isn't getting the attention that it should be getting.

With my limited knowledge, ecash seems like a better option than liquid.

Yep. And it is going to continue too. What is next I wonder?

Have you all gotten your JAB yet? 😉

Hopefully most people know to NOT believe a F'ing thing the government or it's agencies say.

What we have here are the criminals investigating the criminals to determine if a crime was committed.

What do we all do about it? NOTHING

The blame is on us for putting up with it.

Furthermore, the photograph of Oswald and the gun that allegedly killed JFK looks staged. Oswald himself said he had never seen that photograph in his life.

Some say there are discrepancies in the photographs that make one second guess just how legitimate these are. Also, there were no fingerprints found on the gun that could be used in court that linked Oswald to the crime. Ah, but I suppose that didn't matter to them because they would proceed to eliminate any loose ends and there would be no trial.

Why would Oswald take a photograph of himself with the gun just hours before if he was trying to get away with this crime? It doesn't make any sense. Unless a handler was setting him up to take the fall.

The fact that Oswald was almost certainly another victim of the infamous MK Ultra mind control program just shows you that this man was set up and almost certainly a patsy as he claimed. Remember that Naggell himself went out of his way to get arrested to avoid becoming what Oswald would become.

The lone-crazed gunmen plan is a blueprint strategy for the CIA. It's their playbook. Kill through covert means, and lay the blame on a patsy. It happened with Oswald and it happened when Robert Kennedy promised to get to the bottom of JFK's killing and suffered the consequences. It's so blatant that the people who killed JFK also killed Robert Kennedy, you'd have to be blind not to see it. They used the exact same MK Ultra patsy method. Since the same play kept working, they did it over and over again because the people had not been awake enough or strong enough to counter the propaganda.

Should have painted kill JFK on the fence too. 😉
