I would have tried hosting Mastodon years ago, except I saw it was ruby on rails 💎🚂 and I didn't have the heart to struggle with that after supporting a Redmine install for a decade 😐
Real Simple Syndication. It's a way to publish lists of linkable content which are easily processed by scripts/apps. Podcasts still syndicate this way to this day.
This post made me think of how Linus Torvalds and others made millions instead of billions and created a permanent commons critical infrastructure tool which anyone can use for free.
After you all watch, there was just a 10 years later retrospective with Snowden, Poitras and Greenwald. None of them are sitting in a prison now, they remarked! ♥️😎🙏✊

Aloha my fellow plebs, just wanted to update nostr as I am Hawaiian, live on Maui, as have my family for time immemorial. My family has not suffered any direct loss, so we have been part of community efforts to help those isolated in Lahaina. We knew no significant help was going to get there, so we take of our own.
I was forced to communicate via FB cause that's where many of my people are.
