There’s a little question that the vote for Donald Trump freed 1500 political hostages. Plus it freed Ross Ulbricht. Those are undeniable. And those are amazing actions.

I believe that most bitcoiners think it’s a very good thing that Bukele is the president of El Salvador . I wish politicians didn’t have as much power as they do, but that’s the world we currently live in. Your vote does matter. Bitcoin does not fix everything. Bitcoin fixes a lot. But we still live in a world ruled by far too many megalomaniacs, with far too much power. Fighting against all odds to try to get someone halfway sane in those positions is indeed important.

As for inches and miles:

I’m 61. I remember my dad saying when I was in first or second grade, that by the time I was in fourth grade or so, we would be on the metric system. Obviously a lot easier and makes more sense. But I gotta say, I like that it’s uniquely American. I wouldn’t want to change now. In today’s political climate, I’m not looking to become more European at all. I like our sense of individualism, freedom of speech, and the two way. We seem to have lost her way the last 10 or 20 years BUT, The last two days, IMO, have been fantastic for me and America.

I am, however, old enough to know that politicians continually disappoint and disappoint, and then disappoint some more. But I’ll take what good I can get for now. And again…I’d like to keep our measuring systems just the way they are.

I gotta say the last two days over here in the states have been fantastic. The TV is never on in our house, and it’s been on for almost 48 hours straight. :-) Freeing the J6 political hostages, of which I could’ve easily been one, and then Freeing Ross. Incredible! Your vote matters!!

I’ve long fought with Libertarians that have said for 30 years, “it’s two wings of the same bird.” That’s complete bullshit. Yes at times they’re right. But not this time. One must fight. And I’m old enough to know, and I’m ready for Trump to disappoint me over and over and over. But those two things never would’ve got done with the Fucking criminal leftist that we had in power in America in the White House until 2 days ago. And we still have far too many of their ilk in far too many other offices and in our bureaucracies. Again- Your vote matters!!

Elections have consequences. I consider myself quite libertarian. Maybe libertarian/conservative is better. I’ve argued for years that it is NOT “Two wings of the same Bird”. Especially these last 10 years of woke, anti free speech, anti freedom bullshit.

I hope many more Libertarians run as Liberty minded republicans, infiltrate the system and keep working to change it for the better.

Nope, But I was there at the J6 speech. Surrounded by hundreds of thousands of orderly, Nice people.

His speech did not incite violence in any way. In fact, If you’ve ever had a coach yell “Go get that guy!” - that would have been far more vitriolic than anything Trump said.

I did not go to the capital. Instead hit the road for the 9 hour drive home. That a couple people acted poorly - spurned on by FBI instigators- does not make them “insurrectionists” at all.

They have been treated horrifically by a tyrannical regime. This was a huge item. 1500 political prisoners freed.

And he signed a great many other executive orders today as well.

But - I too want Ross freed. Hopefully it is later tonight or tomorrow morning. If not, I will join all the other Bitcoiners and freedom lovers calling it out.

Pardoned 1500 unjustly persecuted J6’ers today. That’s huge to me.

My mom died 3 years ago son.

It doesn’t matter to me if Ross knows me, “cares” about me, thinks I’m as asshole. It’s about a young man overcharged by tyrannical zealots. I think I took pretty hood care of my family as they grew and moved on. And I was still able to do more than one thing at a time.
