I am not sure that a pencil placed halfway inside the glass is an accurate analogy here. Rather, imagine a standing pencil placed behind a non-transparent full glass of ice cold water and completely obstructed by it in a hot room. Supposedly refraction would optically lift the pencil up from behind the glass.
My problem is that I have never seen optical "refractions" and "mirages" scientifically documented including measurements of % of humidity and temperatures of different layers of air, their relative placement and etc. It is always only theoretical scenarios that can't be experimentally replicated for some reason.
Usually the official explanation is that due to the large amount of water particles in the air and the difference in temperature of the air (cold air layer under hot air layer) an optical effect called "refraction" appears and lifts objects up from under the physical horizon by the tune of kilometers.
My problem with that is that I have never seen it proven experimentally. I have also never experienced myself low temperatures at the sea level with higher temperatures in the mountains - it is always the opposite without exceptions.
And since it is atmospheric conditions that supposedly cause vertical refraction, I always wondered why has no one experimentally proved horizontal refraction? If it is real, it should be possible to showcase it and see objects behind a corner of a wall, given right humidity and temperatures. Otherwise, why would an optical refraction discriminate against horizontal vision, it does not make any sense.

The difference is that Bitcoin has proven so far to be able to withstand any attempts of capture, it still has the same hard supply, it still serves as a useful tool for humanity. Governments on the other hand have shown time after time that they are extremely prone to capture by outside interests and are always turned into an enslavement tool against its own people.

As I see Bitcoin it is merely a very useful technology/tool. All useful technologies/tools could be used by any kinds of people good or bad - BTC as a technology does not discriminate against anyone in any way. Bitcoin miners being mostly regulated entities is a thing, as well as hash rate concentration between a small number of mining pools is. But one has to look at it practically - what can those pools technically do to influence the Bitcoin network in a malicious way? They can do pretty much nothing, and all the individual miners can easily change the mining pool in the same way NOSTR users can easily switch relays if they start to misbehave. Bitcoin indeed is fully traceable, however there are existing ways to effectively obfuscate each bitcoins history. As for the fungibility, one could argue that it is more fungible than not, everywhere in the world 1 BTC = 1 BTC. If you want to argue against that, you have to also accept that cash is not truly fungible as each banknote has its unique number. But using such logic nothing is truly fungible in this world.
If you agree that fiat is inherently evil and is used as an enslavement tool, how can you still support it in the form of cash? The principle stays the same and people who hold their savings in cash are being continuously robbed of their energy and time. It is true that WEF/banksters would prefer CBDCs to banknotes, but that does not change the fact that cash is still fundamentally evil. I mean how is Bitcoin controlled technically? Does WEF decide what goes into its code, or maybe it has some other controls over its properties? The screenshots you shared do not provide any evidence of such. WEF has also released many negative articles about bitcoin and POW, I would not consider anything they say alone as any kind of evidence for anything. Some other spooks associating themselves in the media with bitcoin is also meaningless from my perspective.
As for the fiat, it is definitely used by banksters (not only central banks) for sucking the energy of all other humans who store their savings in it. Let me explain, people trade their time and energy in exchange for fiat currencies and subsequently store (save) them in fiat as well. Then central and private banks create currency and allocate it to their handlers each through its own process and by doing so they dilute the fiat savings of the normal people, effectively stealing their stored (saved) energy and time. I am pretty sure that relays have been able to manually blacklist public keys since forever. It is probably true though that there aren't more complex tools for doing so currently.
That could become a problem, however most clients are opensource and I am sure if this problem gets too large you would have people hosting their own client instances without any of the things you mentioned. I definitely don't think it's a deal breaker which makes NOSTR protocol completely useless.
