From my understanding on fediverse you have multiple separate identities on each server that you decide to join and they all are controlled by the respective server admin. So your followers on one server are not able to follow you on the other using the same credentials. Which means your followers are only yours as long as a server admin allows you to have them. This in my mind is an enormous negative feature of the protocol, which overrides any positive ones.
Interesting. I always wondered why optical refraction was never proven experimentally to work horizontally. If it is able to pull objects up from under the horizon vertically by many kilometres, it should be able to let the observer see behind the corner of a wall horizontally under proper conditions.
I also don’t see why the radio stuff fundamentally wouldn’t work on other possible sizes and shapes of the earth. Have you heard of the LORAN-C system?
Are you talking about the so-called "refraction"?
📌Interesting Fact📌
The longest line of sight ever captured on the photo is 443 kilometres (275 miles). On the 13th of July 2016 Mark Bret Guma took a photo of a mountain Pic Gasperd (France) from Pic de Finestrelles (Spain). What is interesting is that according to the official size and dimensions of Earth, it is only possible to see as far as 190km away from a point that is 2826 meters above sea level. Any object at the distance of 443km should be obstructed by the physical horizon by 5260m. Pic Gasperd on the other hand is only 3883 meters tall, but can clearly be seen on the photo.

How exactly is bitcoin controlled by anyone, be it jews or WEF? How can you say that fiat is freedom if it is clearly used by banksters as a tool to enslave all humans by stealing their savings? If you are against everything digital, you should rather use physical gold than paper fiat. Monero has its own problems and is not acceptable as a savings vehicle, because of its technical architecture.
Exactly what I meant - on NOSTR your key = your identity and no admin is able to take it away from you. Some relays might block you, they might even create a shared blacklist, but they can't take down my account completely and eliminate my audience though.
I haven't made any claims about censorship resistance, have I? Nonetheless NOSTR is censorship resistant in a sense that you are not locked in into a single relay. However, the main feature of NOSTR is that you actually own your identity (public key) and hence your key = your followers (same as in BTC your key = your coins). So even if 90% of all relays blacklist you, your followers still can find your content using the same pub key on the left over relays that haven't.
Interesting that most people who say that actually still *do believe* the science when it comes to proving that the viruses exist and are pathogenic 🤨 There is literally zero proper evidence for that but "independent thinkers" like #[1] still choose to blindly believe and play into the official virology narrative.
I would rather leave "report" button for spam and porn. From what I understand these reports are handled manually by relay operators and having them dig into every degenerate note to decide if it's worth deleting is asking too much of them. Also makes removing actual spam and porn more difficult I guess.
You should consider fediverse. You can subscribe to all posts by a person so all posts go to notifications. + Much more mature and more control. (Pleroma+Soapbox servers especially) https://jointhefedi.com/ and you can still connect with nostr users #[6]
I'm sure this issue will be fixed in NOSTR clients in no time. Joining a federated network like fediverse where the server owns your identity does not seem like something I really want to do.
Yeah, Jacques Fresco is cool and often logical dude. I agree with him on this in a certain sense, but overall Project Venus gives too much one world government vibes and is incompatible with any monetary system including BTC.
#[3] food for thought. I like chronological feed and it has to stay, but when you follow a lot of people you completely miss out on posts made while you were away for half a day. Even without zaps would be cool to set a priority list for the accounts that you don't want to miss a single note from.

Misinformation #2:
Masks prevent COVID transmission
"The pooled results of RCTs did not show a clear reduction in respiratory viral infection with the use of medical/surgical masks. There were no clear differences between the use of medical/surgical masks compared with N95/P2 respirators in healthcare workers when used in routine care to reduce respiratory viral infection."

School closures reduce COVID transmission
Sweden:
"Keeping the schools open was conceived of as a necessary response to the pandemic, following a logic of events based on what was constitutionally possible to decide and every child’s right to education, and to keep parents in jobs for the protection of vital societal functions and critical infrastructure."

Misinformation #4:
Myocarditis from the vaccine is less common than from the infection
"Associations were stronger in younger men <40 years for all vaccines and after a second dose of mRNA-1273 vaccine, where the risk of myocarditis was higher after vaccination than SARS-CoV-2 infection."

Misinformation #8:
It was important to get the second vaccine dose three or four weeks after the first dose
"An 8-week interval between the first and second primary series doses of Moderna, Novavax, and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines might be optimal for some people ages 6 months–64 years, especially for males ages 12–39 years, as it might reduce the small risk of myocarditis and pericarditis associated with these vaccines."

Data on the bivalent vaccine is ‘crystal clear’
–From eight mice.
"Pfizer presented preliminary findings in eight mice given BA.4/BA.5 vaccines as their third dose. Compared with the mice that received the original vaccine as a booster, the animals showed an increased response to all Omicron variants tested: BA.1, BA.2, BA.2.12.1, BA.4, and BA.5."

I'd rather say NOSTR is the protocol of choice for the gigachad Ancaps, who can truly understand and appreciate what it brings to the table.
