Instead, I want it to communicate with my phone, and the phone would sign/decrypt events after my approval (smartphones are generally better in keeping secrets because apps can’t easily access other apps’ files & memory).

It is a good day to announce Holesail P2P version 1.6.1, a major release with changes that will affect how you use the application.
Here is a list of everything that is now changed and available in the latest version of Holesail:

Please make a tutorial how to use the npm-package on Vercel/Firebase, to create a simple website that routes all incoming calls to a #holesail server (with a lambda function that opens the connection, sends the request, and closes it).
Somebody should make an nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct app that routes incoming #holesail connections to popular apps (i.e. LNbits, BTCPay Server, etc.), so home node operators could easily turn them into public websites - for example by running a lambda function on Vercel or Firebase that uses the npm-package:

There is no possibility to switch to another wallet.
To zap someone on nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 you can select your favorite wallet, but the zap symbol is missing, so you can’t zap. There is a working workaround, which I just tried.

Before hearing about the workaround, I’ve built nostr:npub1qm05ghrt2xuc970rxpsuchs504ah4rllxsgevdyjc0v5uha77m6qujz78x which creates a zap event (mentioning you) and DMs you the invoice. The bot never custody any funds, the invoice is the direct invoice to the author of the zapped event.
I’m keeping the bot alive just in case they close the loophole, until I’ll buy my next phone (which will NOT be an iPhone).
