This is in reponse to one of the latest interviews of Bukele. I love Bukele. But he was talking about how the "western hemisphere" is in demise now, and implied or directly mentioned that it had been cool sometime before, when it was not in demise.
No, it was never cool. Not in the history I have ever heard of. It has always sucked. Even if the Spanish were not as bad as Romans, English and others (which I am not sure of), I do not see any part of the history of the western hemisphere as cool.
