The ego is taking longer to die than I had hoped

I considered quitting nostr.

I considered just creating a personal (real name) account and dropping this one.

I considered converting this one to my real name.

Ultimately I deeply fear rejection.

A deep sense of worthlessness.

Of feeling hated.

I've seen hate here pointed in my direction.

Having been told I "add no value" by a certain user, it caused a wonderful agony. For that I'm grateful.

Self hatred. The part of the ego that cannot be overcome, but must be embraced.

I've said some dumb stuff on this profile.

I also feel attachment to some profound moments I've recorded here. Even if it's just screaming into the void.

Oh what to do.

#asknostr

I've got two kids under 3, a full time job and a mother in-law.

I dgaf about what a relay is or does.

Make it easy to choose like vpns: add-block, malware, spam, porn...

I cannot let go.

It's not me that can do the letting go.

Negative vibes are a poison. Avoid those who have not learnt to see their own beliefs for what they are. Self hatred.

What is spirituality?

GFY manipulation creation

Do your own due diligence

Lifetimes I’ve spoken on this

Apparently the next generation of #nostr game is …. #spirituality #awakening

Nah. Told you I’m done with whatever games YOU chose.

You believe I have ego? Absolutely 💯

It’s part of the human condition. We have it as a survival instinct. What do you expect? You want me to come online & read spiritual doctrine? Every possible book. Speak on my own life experiences. Nope 🙂‍↔️

No one book. No one master.

GTFO 😡 with your too late spiritual awakenings … wannabe influencers living off the fat of the weak minds. Gross 🤮

Lifelong being a #seer I’ve never exploited this to benefit myself & have constantly had to question when & where to speak with others. More often than not, other humans have tested & sought to exploit it. Humans always human.

Have you ever had to decide to tell a mother her boyfriend was molesting their child because you saw it when the child grabbed your hand?

Kindly & respectfully: the **testing** online isn’t anything new to me. I’ve done this lifelong & won’t PROVE MY WORTH to anyone ever again?

Ok ✅ In all things we have a choice, a voice or to rejoice. Respect #humanity for their choices. If the world is burning 🔥

As it is … then actively work to make

It better.

At one time I believed my best work was in my dreams then believed it was real life. Everyone has their journey. I’m not going to tell anyone what is right for them regardless of their circumstances. Unless they are a bad human doing bad actions. They must be held accountable.

Hey I'm following this hash tag. You're coming into my house with your pain story.

You wanted the attention. Here it is. Hello.

Everything's perfectly managed in the unborn.

Or GFY, whatever lady.

It's because it's true. You never change. You never become "more". You are. The thought of you is not you.

"To be" anything is the illusion of a mind that has mistaken its fantasies for the real world.

A wall of doubt.

An unfathomable chasm of fear.

A rage so primal it has no words.

There is no violence at its core.

Its before action.

Its before thought.

Unbearable ringing in my ears.

Nothing is happening.

The phrase "no one is going to save you" hits hardest when you realise, through direct seeing, that you dont exist. That you are literally no one. That we all are one and that we are all no one.

"No one" is all of us.

We're all on this rick together. We are this fucking rock. We are life as one.

There is nothing to save. We're already here.

Firstly, Thanks!

It worked but only after I removed the [" "] that come in the copied text.

Perhaps you could implement a quick check and removal of them from the string in a future update.

Cheers!

If you’re not happy all the time, do you feel like you have a problem?

No matter how much you achieve, does it feel like it’s never quite enough?

This is totally normal.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with the pursuit of happiness, but it’s critical to understand that even in the best case scenario, happiness is fleeting. It’s not something we ever get to keep.

We’re conditioned to think that if we don’t feel happy, we’re failing at life. The traditional approach to addressing unhappiness is flawed, however, as it assumes we’re meant to live in some perfect state of perpetual bliss. But that doesn’t jive with biology or reality.

The truth is that our mammalian brains are wired for survival, not to feel happy all the time.

Feelings of happiness and achievement are short-lived, and it’s meant to be that way.

But by harnessing proven principles of brain science and evolutionary biology, you can use dissatisfaction, pain and discomfort to propel you to your next epic success.

Today we’re back with our friend, Loretta Breuning, PhD, author, Professor Emerita of Management at California State University, East Bay, and Founder of the Inner Mammal Institute.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

Why our brain's happy chemicals are only released in short spurts, and quickly habituate to rewards

How to untangle your emotional wiring by tracking down patterns from childhood

Why our natural "herd impulse" can lead to groupthink and the suppression of individuality (and how to counteract it)

Simple strategies to manage anxiety and fear

How to spark small joys and harness dopamine triggers in the brain’s reward system to create meaning and purpose in your life

And much more…

Happiness is what remains when thoughts are seen for what they are and fall away.

It's our base existence. It's not a state or a point of view. It's when they too are seen as illusions.

I used to be an athlete at international level.

Now I'm older I have injuries I will never recover from but can only manage.

2024 has been a year where it all finally caught up to this body.

It was a gift.

Running again. Calisthenics. Yoga.

A lifetime of sport has given this body the ability to ramp up surprisingly quickly, even now in middle age.

Finally I can train without anger. Without ego.
