I know, those are the badges I was referring to. From what I understand, instead of going to a site and issuing one, taproot assets will be transferrable over lightning. Meaning I can actually "send" you a badge. Plus all the programming options that opens up, for example OG nostrica badge owners might get a discount on buying the next ticket.
I want it. Can't wait to see what taproot assets gonna be used for, and since they're digital badges essentially, it makes sense to be on a social layer. You and me are going to the Riga Nostr Party, right? Why not issue a badge on taproot assets and we can display it on our profiles? Isn't that what it's all about, digital bragging rights?

Baltic Honey Badger in Riga has always been a special conference.
This year, it's going to be even more special because, for the first time, a Nostr Party is included! It's scheduled for the night of September 3rd and open to all conference ticket holders.
Since the organizers were impressed by what they experienced at the #NostrBeachParty in Miami, they've asked Uncle to assist with the organization of #NostrPartyRiga. I tried to explain that it was all done by nostr:npub1z4m7gkva6yxgvdyclc7zp0vz4ta0s2d9jh8g83w03tp5vdf3kzdsxana6p, nostr:npub1csamkk8zu67zl9z4wkp90a462v53q775aqn5q6xzjdkxnkvcpd7srtz4x9, nostr:npub18rxdd7k5ayly50965a9rv8r7qrqmxn3tjsdp348xg205msrwyc9sacjx70 and other volunteers, but they wouldn't listen.
So, here I am – launching the effort to raise awareness about the party among all the Nostriches coming to Riga and to help cover drinks for everyone!

I don't care what coins you use
We got paid for marketing work, 2 separate payments. First in bitcoin onchain, the second through a bank. First one went through, got the sats, sent them to someone else already.
2nd payment through the bank doesn't go through and has been lost.
It gets stuck so often. I have to refresh ten times, still won't load sometimes.
That's a myth, the darknet markets are using basically 48% bitcoin and 48% monero. It doesn't even dominate there, that should tell you something about bitcoin's coinjoin anonymity.
Biometrics are usernames, not passwords. Consider them stolen.
I'm not an expert but I feel the same way. No matter how good monero's security might be, without the Network effect of bitcoin it's pointless.
