Indeed. Red meat is what humans/ pre-humans have evolved on. Our biology is adapted to meat and animal food in general.

There is just more money in processed and "engineered" food, hence interest groups from food industry and pharma are much more incentivised to influence public nutrition and health policy.

Stay vigilant. The "Lindy effect" does also apply to human nutrition not just to Bitcoin ๐Ÿ˜Š

True. And the second is fueled by the first. Thst's why money must be separated (again) from state.

The current custodian-based financial system inverts the burden of proof concept. Access to bank account can just be be blocked for any (arbitrary, authoritarian) reason and the account owner is stuck with the problems and the burden to proof he is innocent.

Bitcoin in self-custody reverts that to where govt/police has the burden of proof and only if proofen guilty there is legitimacy to confiscate money. It restores faith in institutions to that has gone lost, but is necessary. Having Bitcoin in authoritarian society is of little use and not what we want.

I think this fact is underappreciated, especially in the KYC discussion. Even KYC-ed Bitcoin will be an improvement over the current system, when held in sel-custody.

There's always a study... Just enjoy a cup or two and don't go overboard. ๐Ÿ˜Šโ˜•

Most are just observational studies, these can't infer on cause and effect, only show correlation at best.

Real estate has become a store of value over the past decades which resulted in a huge monetary premium above its actual use value.

This makes it harder and harder for people to buy houses to live in (e.g. young families).

It distorts the perception of real estate because of the lack of sound money to save in.

Bitcoin can provide the solution to both: being a much better store of value/wealth, subsequently demonetising real estate and as a result leading to affordable housing again.
