Reasons the mainstream media will give for why you shouldn't own Bitcoin.

They shouldn't be "printing" money for anything. We should have a balanced budget, indeed we should have a small budget surplus every year so the government can put real money (Bitcoin) into a reserve account. But there are aspects of government that are needed that might not get the support of people. If nobody makes donations to the Supreme Court, should we shut it down? Or the Department of Defense, if they don't get enough donations should they have a bake sale to pay for the maintenance cost on the ships? Getting a bit silly, I know. But unless we are going to completely shut down the ENTIRE government and toss the US Constitution into the trash, we do need to maintain the government departments that are required in the budget.

A complete change in how taxes are collected and applied like this would be a major shock to the system, and I don't think we're ready for that. But doing this with 25% of our taxes would send a message to Congress. And we shouldn't forget that most states have an income tax, so they could do this as well at the state or municipal level. And other countries could do this, like El Salvador.

Anyway, lots of possibilities. we just need to think them through.

How about allowing donations to specific Federal Agencies to be counted towards taxes paid? So if we know of certain programs in the Department of Education or the Customs and Border Protection that we want to support we can send our tax dollars there and those specific programs get the money, not the "general fund".

Anyway look... About this particular subject, for obvious reasons, there was a huge effort during the cold war, to find an excuse to justify the stealing. Because it was recognised as stealing to the capitalist world also and as i said and as it is famously well known, this theorem comes with a proof. So, relatively close to the cold war, they ended up with the excuse we have already discussed. The risk of the business owner. That is the best they could come up with and as we saw, this excuse is more than weak. That is what they also teached, otherwise no academic career... Recently, a few years ago, i heard something about trying to justify the stealing through the theory of marginal utility, if you are aware. Of course this failed too and never heard that again since then. The only thing that can really dispute the surplus value theorem is technology, as i have already said, because it might change the situation, depending on the case, making the human work less important.

Back in the 1980'ies and 1990'ies, actual autism was rare.

Since I've never had autism symptoms I was curious to take a few online tests. My impression is that some of the tests falsely equates introversion with autism, thereby risking to misdiagnose a high percentage of a population.

When a preference for not going to parties is registered as a mild form of autism it becomes clear that this is not a scientific or meaningful test. It tells me that the purpose is to misdiagnose individuals with a condition that they have no symptoms for.

I find it very concerning that children might be misdiagnosed with a rare condition for simply enjoying and preferring productive and creative activities over going to parties.

When did creativity, the individuation process and setting boundaries become a condition? And what is the point of defining a condition without symptoms?

They should last for years in the freezer but I wouldn't stash them away and count on them. It's best to be rotating stock through stock. As you use them replace them. That way you are sure you always have fresh seed. This is a good practice for any stockpiled goods, seeds, food, fuel.

I like when it has a fudgy-ness to it. Where the mouth feel is thicker than it really is. Occasionally it turns out that way. Some coffee shop cold cold brew does too.

I tried many waters, ratios, temperatures, extraction times. Usually kinda sour. I need to work on it more. When I get back to it, I'll start measuring pH.

I don't know, but my cold brew is delicious according to multiple sources, and even drinking it black I wouldn't say it's sour or bitter.

We get either medium or light roasted beans, which I expect is a big factor, but that's just because we don't like the dark roast (whether brewed hot or cold).

I don't know who needs to head this, but the pH of my cold brew #coffee is about 6.14 (before I add cream and sugar)
