Check permissions on default Google phone app on Android. It kept re enabling things I disabled. It was nagging me so much today I became determined to stop it, and finally I did.
But it's not ok for my possessions to be like traitorous "friends". I don't allow such friends any more. No matter if I have to eat from the trash I want no more to be the beast of burden for the petty and small.

I have an old (lol) 2021 motorola defy, which I unlocked the firmware and at some time ran magisk on it. Now, I just want it to be a modem and run one app, which I want so I can have a house based alarm telling me when sunrise is coming up and when the sun goes into "night" mode.
Did you know that the google "phone" app has by befault permissions to change system settings? And I witnessed it repeatedly doing so, re-enabling things and ignoring DND and all sorts. Yeah, I eventually shut that thing up but you know what?

I'm gonna do it pretty damn soon. Might need to fully root that damn thing and rip everything out of it that isn't a modem and router. But it will be worth it. It has literally already cost me a good 2 days of my life this last week with it's disobedience.
I'm not particularly a fan, I've seen better ones, from Finnish and other companies, there was a shop in Amsterdam near the Anne Frank House, just up from it, yeah, towards the west on the right hand side. But they got a nice pair out to me from London in a few days and I'm so glad to finally be stepping on flat soles again after two years in chunky Salomon Forces.

Part of the problem is that B1's most readily available only as an additive in mainly wheat flour based products, which I have never eaten much of, and explains how I ended up in this pickle, piling a litre of beer a day on top of it, which is well known to burn B vitamins in general.
I don't know what else is involved but Wernicke-Korsakoff's main cause is B1 deficiency, and the fact I am getting fairly chronic double vision says that I've probably already got a thinning of hippocampus tissue already starting too. I certainly am noticing more and more how my memory is fucked. It is fortunate that I am getting a severe symptom that directly interferes with my ability to work otherwise I might keep on going until I forget how to write code otherwise.
