you sound quite motivated to make this thing sound true and ignore evidences to the contrary
I was literally looking at a house off grid at one point, amazing house. wish it worked it just doesn't
it's not free, it's Chinese solar panels and that's if the electricity you're getting is from the sun. they're full of quite toxic components, that will then leach into the environment, and be much worse than coal and etc... which is ironic
also battery life is limited. something something lithium farms. if phones have battery issues as much as they do I would expect battery powered cars to be hell really quickly, which is the rumours I hear
yeah craigslist makes most sense
think Newegg was taking BTC but I can't remember. if a sector has a lot of BTC people then could have a btc-only website. but craiglist is good because it's random stuff
probably no opt out simply
that's why you need popular support
then they'd make you a martyr and it becomes harder to do without having consequences
or just ignore that you owe people favours
politicians do it all the time, clearly they figured it out
what are they gonna do, terrorize you? now you're playing a different game. perhaps the real game current era politicians play ;)

Something I've been struggling with lately is how to invest wisely and ethically. I believe we have a moral obligation to avoid investing in companies that contribute to or participate in moral evil. Likewise, I believe investments based purely on speculation are immoral in principle.
So, the question becomes, how does one craft a stock portfolio that meets these criteria? Most people, myself included, don't have the time to research each company I might invest in to determine whether they are a morally acceptable investment.
I think I've found at least the start of an answer. For my fellow Christians, Ave Maria Mutual Funds maintains mutual funds that consist only in stocks of companies that follow ethical investment guidelines. They do all the research, and the board is made up of trusted Catholic individuals.
Here is their website: https://www.avemariafunds.com/
I view morality as compatible with karma and karma being as compatible with causality /consequence / outcomes
long-term investments in good faith companies are naturally just the most profitable
short-term gains are just that, they might mess people up now but people get wise, or they get sick and cease to be profitable
so it logically makes sense to bet for the longest future and doing so is synonymous with morality
at least how I've always seen successful religions. I'm not personally religious, though I did attend Catholic school for a bit as a kid and they were a better bet than public school I think
... you also need good faith but not naive. ability to anticipate issues and parasites, and have adequate defenses against those
wow that took a long time
these things are so crazy with their patterns
I had one and if I touched it I broke out in hives, so be careful of that lol
might be this from the description and region: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonovka
the tree was pretty short and all the apples green, was growing on our dacha which is Russian for cottage, though in ukraine. they were hardy but they were also sweet and tart. so it must be some random subspecies.i think they were slightly smaller than the pictures and the apples were pretty geometry perfect, idk maybe I'm wrong about the species
very cool it can survive winters. that's great because I live somewhere that gets very cold now
had an amazing apple tree growing up on my grandparents' cottage
asked my mom if she could bring me the seeds
she said she can't because customs would take them away... it's illegal to bring in foreign apple seeds from another country but it's totally cool for Asia to bring in deadly hammerhead soil slugs into Canada evidently
perhaps some game theory needs to be applied
they need to be dependent on your support. it isn't support and they'll honor it, but they have to fear that you might take away the support they now feel entitled to
they're politicians!
yeah I find the hardest part is when people want you to sit still and find any deviation or you moving your eyes off them as offense to be the hardest
give me 500 tickets and you'll have 20 of them done in a day, provided nobody actually cares to schedule me and I can work on them all in parallel
how does it work? I don't know
upside I can often take several tasks and bundle them into one, because nobody realized they were all working in the same area and because I'm running around everywhere it becomes clear to me
I still massively hate interruptions though. break me out of my flow
is their bread killing people 👀
yikes on the geopolitics plane this has some implications >>
blackmail and you can have sovereignity I guess
huh surprised it wasn't just automatically "you go to jail personally"
Why did ESG end? 🤔
But then do taxes work and will they knock your door down 🤔
