Yeah I feel I reached saturation point with bitcoin podcasts, newsletters, channels, feeds, blogs, books, and half-baked product launches. Along with all the immediately adjacent stuff like prepping, regen, austrian, and so on.

Maybe it's because I've been consuming for seven years and feel my goodwill hasn't been rewarded with a growth or maturing to quality that I expected. Everything's still half-assed but 'please support because bitcoin'.

As per other posters this week, we've also lost sight of our bitcoiner values too soon, so everything in this space feels directionless, while we wait for $1m bitcoin to make us all richer, and a few entrepreneurs sell us shovels along the way.

I'm not entirely sure what's bothering me, so here for the nos-therapy... but your phrase "bored of the traditional bitcoin podcasts" touched a nerve.

People give Saylor a lot of grief, but one of the reasons I respect the hell out of him is he uses literally every opportunity available to him to talk about Bitcoin, no matter what audience he is in front of or show he is on, so as many people as possible hear the message.

I’ve been trying to actively seek out the arguments against bitcoin again lately, and sadly, I am just seeing all of the same BS rehashed over and over.

It’s sad that these people won’t just bend the knee, eat the crow pie, and admit they were wrong and that bitcoin changes everything.

This is the real existential angst of what Bitcoin does and is, and it demands that you go through the deepest levels of philosophy and first principals thinking to accomplish it, of which many are unwilling to do; which is why they are either no-coiners or shitcoiners.

Tokenizing yourself or your business for the max-extraction crowd is the new selling your soul to the devil

If you've been part of any group effort, you've seen it - as the group generates and grows value, complexity doesn’t just rise - it explodes. Far faster than the value itself. Eventually, questions emerge: Who contributed what? Who deserves how much?

At certain levels of complexity, the same patterns repeat. Any effort that generates significant value will reach a stage where some members will be labeled stupid, lazy, evil, irrelevant. Not by accident, but as a tactic - a way to justify redistributing equity to those seeking to further elevate themselves. The only question is: at what level will this happen? Tens of thousands? Millions? Billions?

But it will always happen. And it will keep happening. When people face the choice between acknowledging that you earned a million or keeping it for themselves, the vast majority will “discover” a truth in which that million rightfully belongs to them.

Look at recent events through this lens. Milei continuing to shill endless shitcoin scams. Trump's team launching $TRUMP memecoin, only to be rugged by another team launching $MELANIA. Insiders printing trillions, funneling it through USAID and the CFPB, just to hand it back to themselves under the guise of serving the people.

The future doesn’t hold less of this - it holds more. Governments will level up money printing to feed the growing political class, under the noble guise of caring for the common folk. Armies of Hawk Tuah girls and Dave Portnoy boys will keep launching scams, hacking ways to make the value you create flow to them. At some point, they won’t even have to try - AI will generate infinite content in their likeness; justify their actions and price, shill the next memecoin, mint the next grift.

And the only thing standing between you and those who would steal the value you create - will be Bitcoin.

What is this odd trend of judging people by the books they read ? as if reading were an act of endorsement and some representation of their morals and beliefs rather than exploration?such a shallow reactionary mindset turning literature into some stupid moral purity test, The most intellectual people read widely even when they disagree because true understanding comes from engaging with different perspectives to sharpen your own , not fearing them. When books become political landmines, we lose the freedom to think critically. Let’s keep literature away from Wokism
