100% with you on the analysis of our choices.

I’m just cautious of the saying “need” cause it gets slippery and politicians especially are not sure footed

As Aquinas argued, if we go down a road of legislating such dictates, or forcing people to “the good” it would cause an even greater evil destroying the dignity inherent in our humanity.

We can make good decisions, and hopefully the fruit of our labor inspires others to join us.

If society will change for the better, it will be grassroots up not top down.

just like bitcoin

fiat is trash

but we can’t make people choose btc

I get the sentiment, but that’s really not a road we want to go down.

Best let people freely choose, even if they choose dumb shit

they are formal properties, so UoA belong there too.

This goes back to Aristotle. MoE is the essential property, as that is the thing which brings money into existence.

Without two people exchanging objects, there is no money.

Explained in my upcoming book

this is just and extension of you get bitcoin at the price you deserve.

i don’t get worked up about people using freedom money freely

i got the bones right, ideas are sharp, it’s just polish.

68k words, 300 some pages in word

i’m still grinding. stil have a few citations to put in, and doing a read out loud to myself pass through.

having to rewrite a few sections just cause it clicked on how to put more succinctly and clearly

but it’s not as “fun” anymore.

more of a slog at this point 🤣

whether it works out or not, who wins the trade war, is another question.

i think trump is just saying outsourcing everything for the last 30-40 years has hollowed out our country’s middle class, i don’t like that, and im going to make you pay for it.

i don’t know he has the winning strat, but i don’t think what he is doing is unstable

my 2 sats

It clicked in a succinct way:

If we say money is broken, we are treating money as completely a external object.

but money hylomorphic, yes it must have materialize in an external object, but money is brought into existence subjectively through human action.

Which is why money is moral, and all economics determined by ethics.

I get the move.

The “completely objective scientific approach” to economics feels like an acceptable move in todays social context, but it’s simply not addressing reality.

Fiat takes the completely subjective approach to money, value is whatever we subjectively say it is.

That’s obviously not aligned with reality, so it makes sense to intuitively correct equal and oppositely.

but the truth is both, the hylomorphic middle path.

We should not give up the high ground.

if you don’t yet know how to make your own insulin…. a prepper is never prepped enough 🤣

I would do push-up power hours with my soldiers when I was a company commander in the Army.

60 sets, every minute on the minute, everyone has a number they can sustain.

what’s even better is when u do it again, it’s super easy to track ur growth.

instead of optimizing for the same number of reps for the entire hour, wonder how to optimize for 1000

would think 30-35 min would be a reasonable start

gl, not my cup of tea, but i’m happy you’re enjoying it!

heavy lifting makes u strong
