Flying used to be fun, and everyone, even coach,was pampered, at least a little bit. I remember getting real, metal utensils for eating my meal.
Now, it's like a flying cattle trailer. My work requires occasional travel to the UK and S. Korea. I hate it.

Thanks! I'd be interested in doing that. I have just been plateaued at 195 since April and want to get to 180 before the Thanksgiving feasts. Keto got me from 225 to 195, but then I leveled off, and then started adding carbs back in. Totally a case of losing focus on my part.

We do have vague plans to revisit where we lived. I was in the Air Force and stationed at a small comm site on Monte Vergine, near Avellino, from 1984-87. It was a wonderful 3 years, getting to know some truly beautiful people in our village.
The problem right now is I despise air travel. It's degraded so much from its heyday. But, the desire is there.
