I'd prefer a peaceful revolution ✌️
hodling is easy once you get the hang of it
couldn't you also say no belief without knowledge?
gm nostriches. pura vida stack sats and every other in-group meme. what's getting you out of bed this morning?
all the weird non-bitcoin subcultures. health and fitness people. independent media people. arts and culture...
nostr is amazing for bitcoin signal, but it'll take some time to dethrone a major social media platform. network effect
this is how i learn as well!
not selling is hard when you're broke
chronically unable to devote myself to schooling as a means of improving my life
great questions that get at the heart of the issue. i'm interested in all of them. especially interesting for the age range i'll be teaching (elementary) is how value and consensus intertwine. also, at what point does value become a construct in our psychology, versus an embodied instinct or want?
all of the topics (debasement, money and state etc.) could be well applied at the elementary level. we could easily roleplay the interaction between private citizen and state, citizen to citizen, and so on.
one thing that i don't think will change with nostr is human psychology around technology.

what's to stop nostr from being replaced? yes we can integrate bitcoin into nostr but until we create a digital identity that is native to bitcoin it will just be another competitor
it may not be what some bitcoiners want, but i see a future where your digital id is immutable and totally integrated into your everyday life. lack of privacy will be a default, and you will pay for privacy as a service, as well as getting it from joining federations.
