There's a large range of bike multi tools on the market but I picked up this (new) Topeak Alien II on Ebay for £24.
It's debatable how many tools you need in a bike multitool and it probably depends on which tools fit your bike, how far you're going, size & weight of the tool etc.
I've only been caught out once when one of my brakes started binding (hydraulic disk brake) and the hotter it got from binding the worse it got until the bike was unrideable, luckily I found someone with an allen key and just took the caliper off to ride home, turned out it was a known fault on that model where the piston in the reservoir gets stuck on the brake adjuster wheel threads so turning the adjuster doesn't back off the brakes/allow for fluid expansion.
The mini ratchet and bit set bike kits seem quite popular and are small to carry but was put off due to the fact that small ratchet mechanisms will most likely start to fail under force and most sets don't include a 10mm wrench or socket which is the size of my brake bleed nipple, if that fault happened again a quick fix would be to just loosen the nipple and let some fluid out. The Alien 2 also has a chain breaker but can't say I've ever needed one while out.
I've also ordered the Granite Talon tyre levers/quick link remover combo as it was only £11.

If someone is hell bent on getting in your house and no one is around to stop them they'll eventually get in one way or the other especially if they're tooled up, hell if no one's around they could Stihl saw an opening through your brickwork or reverse a stolen car into the side of your house 😂 BUT those upvc doors are an absolute joke, a foam panel core sandwiched between two bits of plastic that kicks through the door. The locks, hinges, frame and fixings are all intact, the panel just pushed through.

What cheap ass metal are they making coil springs with nowadays or is it because the roads are bad? You see loads of broken pieces of spring in the gutter.
A family member had a spring go once on a Ford Fiesta that was only a few years old. Maybe it's a mass production thing like everything nowadays - make them thinner, less metal, save a few pence on each spring.
Most things are shit nowadays like internal door handles and taps that used to be made out of thick brass.
No breakfast, left the house just after 9am, got back around 3pm, 50+ miles done 🚴, no stopping or lunch, wasn't trying to set any records just roaming, A roads, B roads, 1 town, 1 city, canal paths, dirt tracks.

A square peg in a round hole? Well yes actually! The bottom hinge was square drive to hinge pin knocked in a round hole with a big hammer.

Find some ore to smelt and make rudimentary tools to chop down trees or work the land? Rudimentary tools that wouldn't even hold an edge and bend easily. Die of malnutrition, wild animal attact or a myriad of things that could go wrong, what if you get tooth ache or need a root canal? Just pull the tooth yourself?
Or is being free and living the dream driving up to the campsite on the weekends in your $100k Cybertruck with a kayak on the roof rack while wearing a $800 Amundsen jacket & $300 Canada Goose beanie? Then packing up and head home when you've had enough because the weather's shit? 🤣
