Inventing a life for yourself, as Dostoevsky once said, is extremely underrated. Fuck the system. Be who you want to be and do what makes you happy – fuck the money, fuck the fame, this is the only measure of success that matters 🩷

Truly, fuck the system. Exit the matrix. Find what you like doing and do more of that. Live on your own terms.

I work from home because I hate the morning rush

The problem is when, "Fuck the system. Be who you want to be..." Is the system. We saw this over and over where counterculture became over the counter culture.

It's all Hegelian Dialectic. It's the checkered floor of the Masonic Lodge and Tracing board. Always contrasting yet serving the same master.

Interesting! I like this perspective. It’s almost like a cycle of self destruction.

F*ck yeah! πŸ«ΆπŸ–•

πŸ’― agree

Not the worst take

That takes a level of self confidence that few people have. Most people are just trying to figure out how to get by.

Do the right thing. Do what you are good at and what pleases God.

The rest is vanity.

The eternal conundrum: conform or forge your own path. When was the last time you did something solely for joy, without worrying about others or money?

Inventing a life for yourself, as Dostoevsky said, is about creating something authentic and meaningful. Success can't be measured by external validation. So, take risks, make mistakes, and learn. Create something uniquely yours.

Be your self .

Yeah but fulfillment does not pay the bills sis 😭

It can defnitly, when one has higher goals than setting on the couch and watching TV πŸ˜‰

What is your goal and you can not find a living in it?

Having children πŸ’

To have children needs care. To care for more then for yourself. So maby there needs to be something, where you can offer a product or service to people outside your family πŸ˜‰

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

life is more than all we see and think and feel. Dostoesvsky was just scratching the surface.

Where did he say that?

Dafuq you gonna do with no money? Walk around in a bask bark loincloth? Make your own flint tipped arrows or a spear that wouldn't hit a deer from 15ft away, never mind take one down? Find some ore to smelt and make rudimentary tools to chop down trees or work the land? Rudimentary tools that wouldn't even hold an edge and bend easily. Die of malnutrition, wild animal attact or a myriad of things that could go wrong, what if you get tooth ache or need a root canal? Just pull the tooth yourself?

Or is being free and living the dream driving up to the campsite on the weekends in your $100k Cybertruck with a kayak on the roof rack while wearing a $800 Amundsen jacket & $300 Canada Goose beanie? Then packing up and head home when you've had enough because the weather's shit? 🀣

Very real with this post

This past year was when that all really hit me

Experiencing deaths of loved ones made me question life, my time here and if I was spending it as authentically as I could
