Setting up a lightning node is annoying. The inital funding has to be done on chain since you don't have any channels yet. Then you have to open channels to other nodes but since umbrel is running over tor you can only connect with nodes that also use tor. If you want to recieve sats you have to manage your channel balance because in the beginning all the liquidity will be on your side of the channel. You do this by sending some sats to another wallet.
