He started posting XRP bs after that. People suspected he sold bis account.
Fun episode. But the Dude hasn't been in crypto for 12 years. He bought the top 12 years ago and then rage quit. Then did the same 4 years later. And now he's an expert trader/ nft flipper/ yield farmer.
What about their family? They also shouldn't be able to vote, because of incentives. Including anyone who's parents have or will have government funded retirement.
Also what if the government builds a road next to your house?
I actually think nobody should be able to vote, but thats not a popular opinion.
I don't care about miners being profitable. I care about the cost of attacking the Bitcoin network.
If the block reward (fees + subsidy) grows slower than the market cap of btc a hypothetical double spend becomes more profitable.
However I doubt JPEG storage will help much in the long run. The only way I see the security budget working out long term is massive second layer settlement. And "arbitrary" data storage might help with that.
I love the Idea. But isn't almost everybody recieving some sort of handout by now? Especially if you count people who work for companies that get government contracts, handouts or favorable uncompetitive regulation. At least in socialist countries like germany.
Is Cashu an L2 or an L3?
While this may be debated (and nostr:nprofile1qqs9pk20ctv9srrg9vr354p03v0rrgsqkpggh2u45va77zz4mu5p6ccpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt0d5hsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj9e3xjarrda5kuetj9eek7cmfv9kz7gupfx4 might disagree!), nostr:nprofile1qqsw3znfr6vdnxrujezjrhlkqqjlvpcqx79ys7gcph9mkjjsy7zsgygprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68y6trvyhxxmmdqy2hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytndd9kx7afwd3hkcnsdg6s and nostr:nprofile1qqsdnpcgf3yrjz3fpawj5drq8tny74gn0kd54l7wmrqw4cpsav3z5fgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuer9v4a8jtnfdutk9l3k argue that #Cashu is the "perfect L3" - generally using lightning for settlement, whilst offering a different trust model and features. If we don't require trustlessness to be classified as a layer.
It wouldn't be worth the same because someone would have to be stupid enough to actually buy it. Bcash was worth about .2 btc at the time of the fork.
That assumes one forked coin would be worth one btc. It would probably be less than that because people like me would also be dumping that shitcoin asap. So he maybe gets 10% more btc if he is lucky.
One option for him would be to short his new fork with leverage and then hide a critical bug in the code.
How would that make him rich? He still wouldn't have acces to his old coins on the fork.
Gov bonds are one of the worst investments out there. Bitcoin will eat them for breakfast.
There should be no op_return limit in the mempool policy. I want my node to accurately predict what the next block will look like (for better fee estimation). If spammers are forced to rely on out of band solutions to get their transactions to miners they won't show up on my nide until they are mined and in a block.
This could also cause centralisation in mining because big miners like Marathon can gain an advantage by providing services like slipstream.
In the end it doesn't really matter what core and knots do, you can just run libre relay and propegate non standard transactions that way. (As long as enough people use it.)
Hey I'm down from 100+ to 84 and I actually had 2 good articles open.
Get a second npub for music and see what happens
Wait until you hear about bitcoin exchanges.
In the early days all node runners were miners and were compensated for their work.
Running a node without mining is mostly important for yourself, so that you can verify any transaction and increase privacy when sending. Why should other people compensate you for that?
Thank you. How close to failure do you train? I find that the closer I train to failure the more time I need to recover or my performance will suffer. Or do I just need to stop making excuses and push harder on the later sets?
I refuse to listen to anything with pomp in it
