The difficulty in being out in front of the herd is mostly loneliness. But the views are unobstructed and huuuuge. For those following, the trail is easier but the stench of shit mixed with dust fills their nostrils. I'll take lonely anyday, thanks

Many of my Bitcoin friends are dead or in prison, or like me, have a very small life with very little in person contact with others. Isn't that somethin? The less connected to The State I am, the more isolated and out of the intellectual and creative pool I am. Pivots keep appearing and bitcoiners keep turning in the wrong direction.

2009 IRS levied my bank and trading accounts

2010 State Department revoked my passport, and I became debanked.

2012 I used Bitcoin for purchases at Porcfest and to pay for weed delivered by a drone.

2013 I sent 2 bitcoin to a woman in who took her entire village out of poverty. Also, Ross Ulbricht was arrested and The State seized control of a large amount of bitcoin, and bitcoiners allowed it . . . because they loved things more than freedom.

2014 I could do anything I wanted with bitcoin.

10 years later, I drive anywhere from an hour to twelve to buy dollahs.

Don't tell me you all have made progress and are more free than you were.

I want to puke. Since when do bitcoiners celebrate The State paving the way to greater freedom? Yuck! In Hollywood, I intentionally went to places that did not accept cash where I would consume the food (it's common in eateries) and slap down the exact amount owed, calmly presenting facts with an open invitation to call the police when confronted. But then again, I was a civil disobedience activist for several years before PT was born so I'm well practiced.

It was a fair question. If you think I was slut shaming, that's a reflection of you, not me. The question addressed the hypocrisy of the boys that invaded the space post 2015. If that doesn't apply to you, then, what's the problem?

Are the boys of bitcoin still paying for attention from sluts then complaining "there are no good women"?

Well, I blame moon seekers. The pivot point was the arrest of Ross Ulbricht. All the shit can be traced back to then. If I had any doubts about how weak the herd (of bitcoiners) had become at that point, they were dispelled spring of 2016. So, imo, it was over before the majority of people who today own bitcoin has even a satoshi.

*sigh*

I still recall the first time someone responded *sigh* to me, the exasperated response of one defeated by their inability to make one understand. That man was Nick Szabo. I still feel the sting a decade later.

It's not the what but the who that is the problem. How was the entire world compelled to wear masks? How have 7 generations of Americans been compelled to get marriage licenses? How have millions of mothers registered at birth their children with SSNs obligating them to a portion of the National Debt? How was the 16th Amendment passed? The United States of America may have been founded by men who refused to pay for another man's war but it has been lost by those who do.

Just one cousin? I had every friend and family member laugh at me from 2010 until a couple of years ago when the last of them stopped talking to me altogether. Quit whining wimp.

Local Bitcoin, mining, and getting paid for product and services was how onboarding occured for my generation. But it's cute to see things we said in 2011 repeated this many years later though nothing has really changed. (You and I have talked about this years ago.)

15 years later and how are you closer? I've budgeted in bitcoin since 2013 so not asking for myself. But having been absent from the online discourse for many years to now arrive here, I can assure you, the convos have devolved not the other way around.
