My "tax resistance" has been restricted to Income Tax which I fundamentally oppose by definition of my status as a Human. As for use tax, I don't have absolutes. The other tax I object to is inflation. Except when it comes to the number of dollars I'm able to buy because bankers have hijacked the narrative on the "value of bitcoin" obfuscating the intrinsic qualities of p2p, permissionless and private speech packets with plausible deniability as the chief cornerstone.
That begs the question why he didn't in the first place.
He was not promised a pardon but a commutation. And that still leaves Murder for Hire charge on the table.
I was at Ross's trial the first day. I did not return at the request of Ross's mother who had received notice of a threat by Katherine Forrest to sequester the jury if the civil disobedience activists who were outside the court educating the public on Jury Nullification and declaring that owning a website is not a crime. Ross's defense threw him under the bus day 2 essentially doing The State's job by admitting to Ross's guilt. The Defense always should have presented "Bitcoin is speech packets and therefore protected under 1st and 4th Amendments" narrative. I believe Dratel was compromised.
War of Attrition is a game played by those with nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'd rather know than just think or hope.
One could argue that "if you haven't . . ." you are one of the Big Hands that receives wealth straight from the printer.

Well, I am a Bible believing Christian, and do not believe in swearing by anything as the Bible says not to and to "let your yes be yes, and your no be no. That said, I think it's"classier" to use a Bible that was meaningful to his Christ-devoted grandmother than a mass produced one bearing his own name.
Trump has not promised to pardon him, but rather to commute his sentence. So his sentence was: 2 consecutive life sentences for the 5 charges plus 2 Kingpin charges carrying 20 years each. So the commutation does not declare him Not Guilty but rather acknowledges his guilt but exercises mercy on the sentence.
Double Jeopardy precludes The State from retrying a case after a verdict, but it does not prevent The State from bringing new charges. Given the charge was dropped, not dismissed, and it was used in sentencing, I'd bet on The House to win.
It's all so fucking gross. I'm glad I've never put a cent toward any of it from the fruit of my labor. I am innocent.
Unless he is granted a full pardon for all potential charges related to past offense, it will hang over his head like a noose. The fact this is not on the forefront of everyone tweeting #FreeRoss with hopes Trump commutes sentence (NOT a pardon) tells me people have learned nothing from the pain of people whose names they've never heard of, but without whom, they'd never know of Bitcoin.
There is no statute of limitations for the crime of Murder for Hire. A charge can be reinstated.
There is zero chance, in my mind, that The State will allow Ross to live outside the walls of prison. The Murder for Hire charge in Maryland was dropped after Ross's sentencing in NYC. Unless it is included in a pardon, the commutation could be a set-up for the murdering of a spirit as the charge will undoubtedly be reinstated.
1/ 🚨 The EINUNDZWANZIG Bitcoin Association is proud to announce that we are donating 0.1 BTC to the legal defense of the Samourai Wallet developers. This fight isn’t just about them—it’s about the future of Bitcoin privacy, sovereignty, and freedom. 🧵
2/ 🔒 Privacy isn’t a "right" given by others—it’s a personal duty we must all enforce. Bitcoin gives us the tools to protect ourselves, but those tools are under attack.
3/ 🎙️ After hearing Danny Knowles powerful interview on What Bitcoin Did, with Roger Burlingame and Zack Bshapiro we felt compelled to act. The legal defense faces an unprecedented challenge: analyzing an insane amount of data handed over by prosecutors.
4/ over 30 terabytes of data to review—more than the Library of Congress, or stacked paper reaching the moon 25 times. This unprecedented burden makes funding critical to build the best defense.
5/ ⚖️These funds will help ensure the Samourai devs can mount the best possible defense against this unjust prosecution. The stakes in the Samurai case go beyond individual developers—they could affect every Bitcoiner, from node runners to wallet users to devs.
6/ 🛡️ keonne and SamouraiDev are being prosecuted in the US for building open-source privacy tools. If these charges succeed, the precedent could jeopardize node operators, Lightning routing nodes, wallet developers, and Bitcoin’s core values worldwide.
7/ 🌍 As a Bitcoin association representing Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, we stand united for Bitcoin’s borderless principles. This attack on privacy tools affects us all, no matter where we live.
8/ 💪 That’s why we’ve donated 0.1 BTC to the Peer-to-Peer Rights Fund a project housed within the btcpolicyorg. They are spearheading the Samourai defense and working to prevent harmful precedents.
9/ 🤝 We call on all Bitcoiners to join us. Whether you’re a developer, node runner, business, or everyday user, this fight matters. Privacy is the backbone of freedom—and defending it is everyone’s responsibility.
10/ 📤 We’re asking you to step up, too. Donate to the Peer-to-Peer Rights Fund, your support could be crucial in defending the Bitcoin ecosystem https://p2prights.org/
11/ ✊ Together, we can ensure Bitcoin remains the sovereign, decentralized tool it was designed to be. Let’s defend what matters.

In 2014, the cry by socialist Andreas Antonnopolus for more "women in Bitcoin" despite #FACTS, ushered in #HarpyShrews such as Blythe Masters, Kathryn Haun, and Katherine Forrest. Those 3 women did more harm than any three-cord strand of men you can think of from the same time.
Also, The State never charged #RossUlbricht with murder for hire. So that is still on the table. Considering Forrest used the accusation for sentencing despite Ross never having been indicted, much less convicted, I would suggest a pardon for any potential charges associated with past relationship to Silk Road to go along with the commuting of the sentence.
Though I'm not a fan of his, I think it's like when an Aspie kid said to me 40 years ago, "You're really pretty even though your teeth are orange." 😆
Lol So we have been calling it that since 2012. So you're using the wrong tense.
Bits have had an established meaning prior to bitcoin. And we needed a word for discussions rather than speaking in terms of millionths of a bitcoin and a H/T to the creator seemed appropriate. Are you okay with referring to 10 btc as a Finney?
