I can’t recommend it enough. Its CQRS/Event Sourcing approach fits Nostr clients perfectly. I’ve been using the previous unstable version for months and the only issue I found is now fixed in this release. Great job nostr:nprofile1qqszv6q4uryjzr06xfxxew34wwc5hmjfmfpqn229d72gfegsdn2q3fgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0wpuhyctdd9jzuenfv96x5ctx9e3k7mf0ep332w πŸ‘

Cashu sweeps complexity under the mind β€” and that's the point.

Oh I see, so let's say one basis could be "happiness/sadness" the more positive the happier, the more negative the sadder. Then each life decision is like a vector with some component along that basis, as well as along others like "satisfaction/frustration", and the set of life decisions adds up to your "resultant" GFY vector in some kind of emotional state space.

https://gm-nostr.vercel.app/ now uses nostr:nprofile1qqstq4j6pk2sgaupru6l7ah9nq0dueafq356jllwcy7uzlek9yx7hlspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsvf93ka when searching for counterparties and also supports NIP-46 remote signer sign in.

So both https://www.themoneyillusion.com/ and https://slatestarcodex.com/ have abandoned their blogs which worked perfectly over many years and migrated to Substack. I imagine many other blogs I never knew about have done the same.

Why is that and what does it mean for us?

Scott said he got a sizable advance to migrate to substack https://www.astralcodexten.com/p/adding-my-data-point-to-the-discussion

Being a protagonist has never mattered more. AI is making everyone else irrelevant.

Ads will come to Nostr. The attention here will be too valuable for such a market not to emerge. Either we make it decentralized or face the consequences of centralization.

Sponsored events enabled by Atomic Signature Swaps is a solution to the advertisement part of nostr:npub1pzzrdngrnlufqazx3lfj07k0vfuya6ehfy8q5yv2h8c5e8fxgmxqhxdsr8's DSP proposal:

"The fact we have to contend with is that money is a key element in centralization. Users bring advertisers, advertisers bring money, money pays for expansion and development of the service, and a better service brings yet more users. Money is essential to this feedback loop that draws everyone to the same service provider, whose real business is that of matching eyeballs to advertisements. [...] Somehow, the users must be at the center of this process of value creation and transfer. Given that user attention is the source of value in the system."

If they can be transferred using schnorr signatures then yes. I still have to take a look at Taproot Assets but they will probably work.

To propose a swap you need to sign in with an nsec (the other party can use a nip-07 extension). After signing in you just insert the npub of the other person, click the button, wait them to accept the proposal, click another button, wait them to publish your GM, click another button. Done.

I'm trying to figure out the generic version in order to propose changes to NIP-07 and NIP-46 for it to work with extension and remote signers. As of now, one of the parties need to sign in with nsec in order to generate an adaptor signature, since other signers do not support it yet.

At the end of my article I propose a separate NIP specially for Sponsored Events (notes, reposts, reactions, etc) that uses the ASS NIP that is too generic. Fortunately selling follows won't work well, because it is a replaceable event and cannot be proposed to multiple people at the same time πŸ˜‚

That's the idea, but what I have now was coded in just a week for the last SEC-04 demo day πŸ˜… In 2 weeksβ„’ it should be fully functional with a decent marketing copy

Oh that's why then, you would need to sign in using NIP-07 for now since the client still lacks remote signer integration... I will let you know when I have that in place so we can swap those friendly GMs.
