I think it's an ignorance thing. Perhaps 'education' has something to do with it. I guess people think that if it doesn't come from a textbook there's no way it could be true.
I've sat in a room with 15 adults across various generations and not one of them knew about fractional reserves, or that since 2020 there was no requirement for any reserves, or that their mortgages were not loans based on the savings of others. Worst of all is I would bet that none of them 'looked into it' any further.
I don't know what causes this condition in humans. Such an awe inspiring lack of curiosity.

Any time else and you're potentially creating an anti-Bitcoiner. They'll get sucked in with fomo and call it a scam as they sell for a substantial loss. Most can't handle drawdown.
