In order I built the ukulele first, then the 45cm scale length guitar and then the big one, is a 64cm scale length.

Daily drawing day 200: sketching the winter sunset in my neighbourhood.

I will be honest, I missed one day of drawing recently so this should be 201. But I decided to pick it up and carry on rather than start from 1 again. I make the rules after all and the last thing I want is to draw less and feel demotivated because of missing one day. That’s just silly.

I have a homesteading friend with chickens who decided not to do this because of the risk of Botulinum spores surviving. Have you ever heard of this being a problem? I think I’ve heard of people relying on it more than ever getting sick from it, but it does give me pause.

I’m less sure about how they raise their ducks. I think it’s above mere survival but yes, they don’t have the same smorgasbord available they do in the growing season.

At least when I was regularly ordering from them, they also didn’t sell chicken eggs in the winter at all because production was so low. I just saw they were carrying the duck eggs at my favorite butcher and took the opportunity.

I do some lutherie. Tune pianos and fix guitars. I built a couple of them.

When I was a musician in Vegas, I had a side gig at a music shop. I repaired saxophones and brass.

Mostly pad jobs and dent repairs.

The owner was skilled and did all the string instrument repairs and high end custom instrument maintenance and repairs.

Like on Powel Flutes, Calikio trumpets, vintage Selmer 5’s etc
