Oh very cool. I am not on Android so I haven’t been able to try it yet. That sounds great. I appreciate the info.
What advantage would that have for the average non-technical user to show the cryptography and json?
Wouldn’t an on-off switch in settings be a good solution?
Though I do believe relays are pretty user friendly as it is always just a domain.
Absolutely fantastic. That is exactly what I am looking for. I will try to get around to running a relay but this is excellent news for what I was looking for. Thank you, I will be consistently reading the release notes for Nos updates!
I would like to view all posts only including people who are intentionally posting to Nostr. There is value in watching what anyone is authentically posting, hashtags or not.
Which Nostr client or paid/public relay currently supports filtering out cross-posted content from bridges like Mostr?
Do I need to run my own relay, are there paid relays that support this filtering, or is there a way to exclude posts with NIP-05 matching the bridge in any current clients, for example?
If running my own relay just to do this is the answer, so be it but I’m having a hard time finding the info and it’s hard to recommend Nostr to any family or friends until I can find a way to filter the bridges. Thanks.

Aren’t these all systems that can only be accessed via a centralized web app at this time though?
Are there any truly distributed Nostr apps/sites besides notes that we can access today (without hosting your own copy of the website)?

You didn’t comment? You could have name-dropped Nostr!
Good for them. There is space for it in Nostr and it’s an open protocol.
They are acting as a custodial service for access to Nostr, so you sign into it like a traditional username + password login and you don’t get to know what your secret key is.
It is an open protocol.
There will be several custodial Nostr clients, it’s only a matter of time.
They may unfortunately be even be more popular than non-custodial someday.
The key is to make the experience better on non-custodial apps than on the custodial apps.
Email works better custodial, web hosting works better custodial, there is another chance to overcome those two issues and more with making Nostr better as non-custodial.
That will be possible when we acknowledge the serious user experience issues with non-custodial and work to constantly make the experience better than custodial.
ZBD solves many experience issues for its users and ignoring that is doing us a disservice.
Many people using ZBD don’t care about its shortcomings (they’re coming from old social media). They will either use custodial or they will hopefully find a non-custodial client that compares to ZBD when one exists someday.
Your Bitwarden or any password vault shouldn’t be sitting on the Internet in the first place.
And if you’re hosting you passwords in Bitwarden SaaS without IP restrictions in place you’re just as crazy.
I mean, they’re not wrong. It’s pretty likely that a domain with the word Bitcoin in it is proudly trying to scam you and they don’t want to be a part of it.
About 15 years ago they actually blocked me from using the word “bank” in a domain too (it was part of my gamer handle).
I bet I would enjoy driving even more if it wasn’t my primary mode of transportation to work and back.
It’s the thing that had me consider not staying around when I first started a few months ago.
It’s in global every day and it’s why I cannot recommend Nostr to people.
It should either be:
- Filtered at the client with detection like NSFWspy
- Relays need to start blocking MOSTR (but they will eventually be in Nostr directly)
- Global needs a warning and a reminder how Nostr is not censorable.

Couple of ingesting notes
You authorize the Payment Card Network and Fidel to monitor transactions on your Linked Credit Card(s) to identify Qualifying CLO Transactions, and for the Payment Card Network to share such transaction details with Coinmiles and Fidel to enable your CLO Offers to be implemented.

Are you in Canada by chance?
