I have the same book! Practical Cryptography!
A friend got one from scythesupply.com and likes it a lot.
They also have great information on there if you are just interested in learning more.
My native grass seeds also arrived today.
Eastern Gamagrass and Big Bluestem. Going to try interspersing some in our pasture as well as some dedicated patches to encourage establishment and overgrazing.
Also have some Compass Plant seed I will be mixing in.
Incredible root systems to help regenerate the soil.

Big day for planting preparations on the homestead.
Ordered plants from the Missouri Department of Conservation. They are all natives and only cost about $1 each.
Most excited about the elderberry and white oak.
A great experience picking everything up, sorting and distributing.
And wow is the quality good.
After eating grass fed grass finished I raised myself, don’t think I could ever go back to buying from the store.

GrapheneOS is much different from CalyxOS and /e/OS. GrapheneOS is a hardened OS with substantial privacy/security improvements:

CalyxOS and /e/OS are not hardened operating systems. They greatly reduce security vs. AOSP via added attack surface, rolled back security and slow patches. We don't have much in common with them.
Which provides longer term support for older model phones like Pixel5 thus allowing lower income and third world to utilize them for longer?
Was thinking about this the other day from the perspective of running your own paid relay and certain (or all) notes would only be posted to that relay.
As was said already, once someone has access, to my knowledge there is nothing stopping them from sharing with others or rebroadcasting a note to their own relays.
But the initial distribution would be limited to only users who have access to your paid relay.
Tomorrow we visit the butcher.
Picking up the first cattle that we raised on our land and are selling.
Having reached out to just a few friends and family, everything pre-sold in just a few hours. We are very blessed to have this market in our area for grass fed/grass finished beef.
Looking forward to sorting through the beef with my family to determine what cuts we have and setting the price per cut.
Would love to see pictures of your wire setup when you do it.
Miss throwing from back in the day. Keep dreaming that one day we will get a wheel.
Good baseline, but there are other tragedies to consider.
Anything that causes death before those kids can grow up and have families of their own. Accidents, sickness, etc.
Not fun to think about it, but part of the math.
3-5 seems like a healthy minimum just from the perspective of maintaining the population.

The storms that just hit us in Missouri look like they are heading to Memphis around 10:00 and Nashville around midnight.
To be clear, make sure the one you are using will fire at your oven cleaning temperature.
Don’t try to use a low fire glaze that needs 1000+ degrees.
Have you tried using a low fire glaze on your oven’s clean cycle?
So long as it vitrifies it will not be water permeable.
Pro tip:
Put a catch tray of sand underneath to keep your oven clean from over glaze drips.
So they push eating bugs. That way people won’t want to eat as much.
