The only issue with this is kind 1 posting.
It should be a different unique kind.
Otherwise it's bad.
Nintendo and similar are not ready to combat against nostr and blossom (and never will)
I think I mentioned this before, but looking forward to the day where nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 provides a tab for browser extensions and people can just publish their browser extensions there. Don't see why not.
Aye it's mass DMs, just references it to remind of mass marketing emails, and hoping people don't use such a tool in place of emailing and similar purposes, so I'm hoping an email NIP becomes a thing.
Considering what nostr:nprofile1qqsdgydqmzwr2txzp6quttmqzdm90e3cql7dpw23627ecrmjk56c8acpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqgjwaehxw309ac82unsd3jhqct89ejhxqgwwaehxw309auk2um5wghx6eg4wjdj9 is making, and what I thought of in the past regarding mailing client on nostr, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to have a different nip for emails specifically? It'd be basically a DM but a different kind and other added bells and whistles for an email UX.
I'd imagine people want DMs for DMs and not for getting emails.
#nostr #asknostr
Considering that there can be anything for anything on nostr, and there being a lot of kinds, here's a better solution (UX wise, a decent compromise between full trust and manual: Timed Trust):
Provide a new option for signers to implement:
"Fully trust for the next TIME"
TIME: 15 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month
Extra: to add custom timings the user can change.
This is a solution to a problem that does not exist.
"Dollars & cents"
"Bitcoin & sats"
$/¢
₿/(3 horizontal lines crossed)
"You know dollars and cents?"
"Ya?"
"Bitcoin and sats"
nostr:npub1h0rnetjp2qka44ayzyjcdh90gs3gzrtq4f94033heng6w34s0pzq2yfv0g I hope you guys still use normal wordings that were used in the past with what you're making with a github alt for nostr (like how gitea has):
Master/Slave, Whitelist/Blacklist, etc
Relative: "Ah, you're into Animy cartoons. I asked about it online and someone said I should watch two called 'Elfen Lied' and 'Redo of Healer'. Are they any good?"
Web 1: Static websites
Web 2: Dynamic content
Web 3: Censorship resistance
Since we already have Bitcoin (freedom money) and Nostr (freedom of information communication), the completion of Web 3, for me, would be the growing trend of mesh networking internet (everyone is an internet service provider), though that probably won't happen in my lifetime (we got nostr:npub1zzt0d0s2f4lsanpd7nkjep5r79p7ljq7aw37eek64hf0ef6v0mxqgwljrv for now tho =3)
They should gitgud dealing with those temps x3
Me: I'll be going to the supermarket to get a few drinks
*Outside temp: 50 to 60
So finally, this one update is up.
Basically, if a post is found, it wouldn't be missed again, and because of the database, this is also now possible:

To the discussion of 'centralization' with the inclusion of 'servers', it's still decentralized.
The repo for the server will be up so anyone can spin one up and add their own Events Aggregator Server to the site:

And you can even simply turn it off by leaving it blank, where it'll just go back to hitting up nostr relays normally, though the reliability is good, of course, if you do that.
Because of budget constraints, the code for the server is pretty much focused for DEG Mods, though when there are no constraints, the idea is to eventually redevelop this in a way that can be used for any nostr client and easily support different and new NIPs, and combine it with normal 'dumb' relays to have it as one package/system, to end up with 'reliable' relays instead and hopefully have everyone use that instead (perhaps a toggle 'keep it dumb' for those who don't want to have a proper DB for some reason).
But ya, the user is still fully in control and no central point of failure to properly bring things down (even the 'central' part, just find another or spin up your own server if something goes wrong and you still want a good experience) =3
I like the white outline, gives it more pop out feel and pronounces it more =3
(Also, gotta call dev to remove alarm from cat, it's hard coded)
That, and I've also been thinking about that for internet archive. Considering they also censor, it's a given to nostr the shit out of it too x3
Nice! I'm not sure how you'll eventually make coop look in the end, but so far all of these nostr chat apps, even the most advanced ones so far, are telegram alternatives, not discord alternatives.
I'm hoping for one day to have a nostr version of discord, where the key elements (aside from voice, let's exclude that for now) is: a space (server) that can be created by a user, where they can create different text channels and place them under different categories, with the ability to easily move from one space (server) to another.
That's basically the core of what makes discord discord. The minimum to be a discord alternative.
(This might need a new NIP, not sure).
Of course, after that, there are roles and permissions, voice chat, video chat, streaming, etc.
It'll continue to grow =3
I'd say it has become the best alt from what I can see, and after two (to three?) big updates (one of which is coming soon), proper marketing kicks in, especially when community+investor funds gets injected, which would mark the start of having it reach and be at the top 5 to 3 or 2 mod sites =3
Thanks for the list. I wonder if there can be a website that has this list and people can submit to it to keep growing and updating the list (maybe with a voting or review system as well to keep track of the bad and good ones), so that other clients wanting to implement ecash can just grab the list to help scan for a users funds have a great ux)
