What a journey! My first lightning node, five months ago, was a complete failure, but I learned so much in the process. One major lesson I learned is that a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB of RAM is not an optimal setup for a professional routing node.
These days, I route several bitcoins per day, contributing to the network at a small profit.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without the help of other noderunners, particularly a German group of professional peers organised as #blitzdinge.

I am fascinated by the fact that what once concerned me has now faded into the background. What once upset me because I didn’t understand it now keeps me calm.
I feel like with Bitcoin I can explain nearly everything that is going wrong in this world. This gives me peace.
