I've decide to start a podcast...I am tired of having things to say and no one to listen. So I guess I'll just start talking to a microphone and pretend that people are paying attention.

I feel this is important because while we have alot of bitcoin centered podcasts there aren't very many that are for the average Joe. I'm talking about the anons who've never thought to themselves what is money. Yes I'm talking about the NPC's it is my belief that everyone no matter how far gone can become a reasonable, self filtering, sovereign individual.

It takes time and effort on the part of the NPC but I promise we can all "Be a real boy" and take back our power.

I don't have a name for the podcast. Maybe "is Bitcoin better?" But I'm not sure as the podcast will be about things other than bitcoin. I will talk about #Nostr #freedomtech and other things happening in the space. I will talk about the steps I'm taking to create a bitcoin community right here in my small town, as well as the things we're doing to bring Bitcoin to the average person.

I don't know where I'm going to go with the podcast nor do I think that I'll make a big difference in the world. Mainly I need to get my thoughts out there so I can organize and compile them into better ideas. It's all about getting better with time. One percent better at a time.

Please understand that I'm not anyone special, I'm actually quite dumb, hence why I need a podcast to organize my thoughts... so take that for what it is. I wont be offering "financial advice" but i will tell you what im doing to secure my wealth. I'll share the first episode on here before I share anywhere else, just because I think nostr is the new media sharing protocol.

I have the first episode recorded I just need to edit it and add some intro and outro music and we should be live, maybe by the end of the week or maybe not. There's no set rhythm for this show. Just going to do it on my own time.

Marty Bent and Matt Odell have several podcasts with each other and seperate all very informative Lyn Alden is incredible and talks macro economics as well as fundamentals.

Educate yourself because you need to be in control of your life, your money and your freedom.

There are plenty of books to read "The price of tomorrow" by @jeffbooth "Broken Money" by Lyn Alden,

"The fiat standard" "the Bitcoin standard" by @saifadean are great places to start.

I have sats in an on chain wallet...I'm confused on how to use the node in the phone tho. I usually do a swap service to send sats to my custodial lightning wallet i do all this through alby. Alby isn't working for swaps now and i can't figure out this open channel and liquidity thing. Is there a how to video or just somthing I'm missing. I've tried to o-conf channel setup by sending sats but I just keep sending on chain to on chain. Haven't figured out how to get them to lightning.... sorry guys I'm probably just being dense i.e. stupid

No I've never made any channels I usually use a custodial wallet

I do not have a stand alone node setup I am in fact using the node in the phone

It's called planned obsolescence and corporations have been employing this tactic since after WWII. they know if they make a product that is of good quality and name they can reduce the life span by using sub par quality parts and people will still continue to repurchase the same item or a "new and improved" version.

We used to live in a world where quality was more important than quantity. However today there is a different story being told.

Can anyone help with setting up zues? How do I send liquidity to my lightning channel? I tried creating am invoice via zues but it just sits there loading forever and never actually sends the transaction...am I doing somthing wrong here? I presume that I have to create a new lightning address and open a channel but I'm lost on how?

Last day of vacation. I have been enjoying some much needed sun, self reflection, perspective, and down time. Started reading "The Price of Tomorrow" by nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe thoroughly enjoying it. Thank you Jeff your book is great for beginners like myself.

Much better than the half filled trash heap "Easy Money" I picked up at the airport, out of curiosity. I swear I was cussing Ben at every other paragraph. He practically hits the nail on the head with crypto and then groups #Bitcoin in there as if it's just another crypto scam. I'm litterally sitting here going "how dare he" hahaha how dare he lump bitcoin in with shitcoin as if its not the "immaculate conception of currency"

Anyways I am enjoying my vacation and enjoying this book. But I seriously cannot wait to get home to my wife!
