This little guy is dope!
This is what finally got my senses together to disable that lil' confusion creating snitch they call " autocorrect". No i can own the confusion i sow through misspellings to the fullest!
(I hate everything i wrote in the above note… In my ideal world, everything is public domain because the market is fair enough to foster a fair music market. Until then, i find myself moraly obliged to apply creative commons on everything i do to keep my work from being abused)
I think license names are standardized. Sure you got some odd ballers, but they're generaöly backed by thorough law text. Licenses are a very commom and battle tested data point. Take a look at the way podcast does it: generally a standardized abreviation and a link to the actual text. Winging it on a licensing can have devastating legal implications.
But hey, i hope i am NOT discouraging you. It's dope stuff. I can sort of imagine you put the licesning there to not mess with the existing datamodel. But if y'all can agree on expanding it together, we'll end up with a solid nip! Maybe nostr:nprofile1qqsp0c5gn7aqzqsaqj9p8lgt5yy26vwrsvnzj4rqcg0xn3pl4ra729gppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8qunfd4skctnwv46z7kug8ue should be plugged in here too...?💜

it should be on artist settings page https://sunami-mocha.vercel.app/studio/settings sorry too many settings!
In my experience, you really want licensing to be on a release basis.

There doesn't seem to be any links to that page from the studio page. But i see my public hex key in artist guid fiel. This would mean i need a different profile for everyone of my aliases. I'd need 256 npubs to manage my own catalogue this way 😅

I see the page whem i go via direct link, but it's empty. How/from where do i get to that page? Ideally, i wouldn't want that info to be part of my profile. In exempel if i have an alt artist name or manage the catalogue of another artist...
let me chip in here, I'm working on another Nostr Music platform - Sunami, I've impleneted artist profiles and licences, can you check how it looks for you? it should be enough for you to login to studio https://sunami-mocha.vercel.app/studio
waveforms and comments are great idea, i'm working on a feature to timestamp resolve zaps, likes and comments so it should be coming soon
Looks dope! Found the studio, but i couldn't find how to add a license...
funny you mention reverse proxy, i was day dreaming earlier about a way to break down some concepts for you and what analogies exist in audio engineering. The only i devised was that a proxy is kinda like a patchbay.
Anyways in terms of security top pf the charts, fail2ban is a classic banger found on most machines. It monitors login attempts on ssh, nginx or whatever and after a set amount of failures, it bans the IP of the purp! Check it out!
Hey nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac ! Love the work you've done with nodecast.xyz!! I have 2 ideas/wishes that i hope will interest you:
One is boring, but more useful than it seems:
1. A field for inputting/chosing license.
Albeit often hidden in submenus on big platform, it's standard. I wish there was no need for licenses at all, but the world we live in dictates differently.
The other one is more phun, and something tells me you've already thought about it:
2. Comments with timestamp so clients can render comments the way that made soundcloud popular in the first place. Since not everytone has a bloom server, I suppose the waveforlm would have to be rendered client side. But maybe the waveform is oldschool? Maybe a timeline is enough? I don't know, but timestamps comments would be dope!
Weather you like these ideas or not, I'm super grateful for the way you're pushing things forward! Happy weekend and merry new year if we don't speak until then!
we did some zap tests on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at setto@basspistol.org, over a period of about 3 hours. six of the zaps were successfully paid... please check for 6 satoshis received. however, we did find that only five of the payments produced zap receipts in time for our server to recognize them. this is a problem because the user who zapped you would not see an active ⚡icon after zapping. they might think the zap failed, and therefore might not zap you again.... also.... your average zap time was 15450ms (15.5 seconds). we consider this zap time slow... if possible, zaps should be confirmed in under two seconds. (if time is too slow, other nostr users might think your zaps are broken, might not zap you again.) if you wanted to fix this... you could try getting a free rizful lightning address -- https://rizful.com ... if u get it set up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.
It is because you zapped too little. Put 777 in all 5 transactions. will be blazing fast, you should try!
I only have word of mouth on it, but i have reasons to believe a photo of me in my early 20s ended up as part of the costume research for eliot 😅
Maybe it's a just a test to see who reads the subtitles in a video lmao 😹
Came here to say this. 😅 You can do this effect to the naked eye with a led lamp in a dark room, and "control" direction by adjusting the the oscillation speed of the led. Or with the frame rate of a camera.
Me discovering nostria.app

aah! i see my playlists now! they are public, i suppose they're not showing in the public list because, well they're... mine? 😅
Thank you so much for publishing your music on Nostr!
I'm building a Nostr client that has Music feature, perhaps you'd enjoy it to: https://nostria.app/
Keep the tunes coming!
Is your playlist scheme different from nodecast.xyz?
I really hope an NIP drops sooner than later :acid: I actually have a wish for it: "timestamped comments", the idea being that clients could display the comment at a specific timestamp, kinda like what made soundcloud popular in the first place :flux:
