My personal account is inactive, but it’s a part of my job. There are still hundreds of millions of people on there, and most of them still don’t know anything about bitcoin, let alone Nostr.

The biggest problem with Nostr right now is that we aren’t breaking any rules.

The value and differentiator for decentralized networks is the “grey market.” BitTorrent taught us valuable lessons, and the most important is that something like Nostr will likely only get a huge network after we find something that people want, but aren’t allowed to have/access for whatever reason.

Don’t know about you but Nostr for me is all about fun. One should never take anything I say at face value without first passing it through “what’s the likelihood Karnage is just messing around?” Filter.

I tried to use Brave on Android instead of Firefox and it's super annoying, shows me ads, has some horrific UI patterns, a weird categorization of tabs into boxes that makes everything harder to select and close. Is this what most people use? Did I download a virus?
