I looked into what it would take to move to El Salvador as well. If I was a tech person that would be a no brainer place to thrive!
I struggle with wanting to move because we live really free here in spite of government through self-sufficiency. I’ll never find another paradise like this.

I’m anticipating exorbitant inflationary pressure and increasing job loss in this transitioning economy (in Canada and the states at least)
I believe the establishment will use this to their advantage to usher in UBI (in Canada for sure) backed/controlled through CBDC’s.
The more people are prepared, the less likely they are to be trapped by the technocracy. There will be growing counter economics through alternative exchange mechanisms I’m sure.
This is my speculation of course but based on watching the social conditioning over the past decade and the insane debt we are incurring; it seems we are headed this way in Canada.
How prepared is everyone feeling for this type of a collapse? I’m assuming #grownostr folks are way ahead of the curve.

Nah its posts driving the divisive topics—gun free zones, that guy that got choked out on the subway, fights that caused death, blackvswhite kids fighting, that type of stuff. Always stuff sowing political division and arguments. Lowers the frequency of my day.

I just joined last year and loved it at first in comparison to FB but lately it’s hate, violence, graphic pictures of people who’ve gotten shot…I’ve been trying to adjust my feed and mute people but similar accounts just keep popping up. 😩

10 out of how many? This was my first time and I got 9 out of 12. One was a toss away at day 7 and the others were too dark to candle.

With a possible economic collapse looming, I wonder about the ceremony's cost.

Yeah it was definitely a different experience when I added herbs, heat and microgreens. Just keep 50% minimum as cabbage and salt it to let out the juices, then mix in flavours and add more salt as needed.
I like that you can taste as you go and if I like it raw, I usually like it 3x more fermented because it all blends together beautifully.
So I’d say use the flavours you enjoy (dill and garlic sounds tasty).
I’ve experimented this year with ferments and I really liked 60% cabbage with carrots, cutting celery, pea shoots and hot peppers. Salt to taste, a month fermenting and it was perfect. One with beets was also good.
Ugh the government…am I right? 😩😂 There is a lady around here that decided to #exitandbuild in 2020.
She moved from the city to our small town and bought land zoned rural-residential, clearing her plans for livestock before she bought.
Now they are telling her no animals, no tiny home/campers/winter sheds on wheels, etc. She has to have a full foundation and permanent residence put up before she can put ANYTHING on the property.
She’s currently renting and very worried about the economy and the possibility her and her family may get kicked out when rates increase more because her landlord is sketchy.
She wants to just sell it but there is nothing decent to buy around here anymore that is unorganized and they’ve already set down roots in our region.
I told her to just tuck it in the trees and by laws be damned but I feel so bad they are struggling. I wish there was some good way to end the post but I guess it’s just a fuck em kind of day.
