Since 2020, I have been genuinely grateful to be part of an extraordinary circle of friends who share a common vision of life. Covid lunacy had disrupted the way we live and learn, but it brought us together through homeschooling. As society continues to evolve, we have managed to support and motivate one another to face these challenges courageously.
Just yesterday, I reconnected with an old acquaintance, someone I had been bumping into quite frequently lately. I noticed he was grappling with some significant issues in his life.
When he confided in me that he had decided to homeschool his children as part of the changes in his life, I knew exactly what to do. Recognizing the perfect opportunity to introduce him to my support network, I invited him to my husband's birthday campout the next day. There, he would have a chance to meet some of the homeschoolers who had become an integral part of our lives.
The timing couldn't have been more impeccable. The friend arrived, having built an impressive e-bike from an old trampoline, and with a fireworks business on the side – something that one of the kids in our homeschooling group absolutely adores.
During the campout, I expressed my gratitude for the bonds forged within our group during this extraordinary time. He confided that he had felt alone in his thoughts and struggles, and he seemed genuinely grateful to find kindred spirits who shared his experience.
Today was a genuinely good day. By extending our circle of friendship and support, I believe we have made a lasting impact on someone's life, and that's a feeling that's hard to beat.

I’ve repeatedly tried for a co-op to get a little time to do other things but people around here aren’t into it. There’s a great homeschooling group (and we are all great friends now) but only parent led activities happening.
I’m looking more into the Charlotte Mason way of doing things but 2020-2022 we were unschooling.

Yes we definitely come from two very different vantage points. I was angry about the coercion. Take the shot, don’t take it, your choice.
I’m not sure those who didn’t go through what we did in 2021 can comprehend what a state of fear we were living in if we chose not to get the shot. We were terrorized and demonized throughout society.
It got to the point here in Canada where I was stuck in town after an accident, and I wasn’t allowed to sit anywhere in public with my children while others could. Not a restaurant. Not a recreational facility. Not the movies. We went to Walmart because that’s the only place that allowed us in.
Then they said Quebec was checking your passports at Canadian tire and Walmart too. And they were going to TAX us… Tax us. Not smokers or substance abusers. People who were lacking trust in the government narrative.
Then the convoy rolled through and all the insanity conveniently started to be rolled back. 🇨🇦

I lost my career so they stole that from me in addition to constant theft through taxation. My children and I have all had injuries from vaccines—childhood and flu vaccines. I was naturally hesitant with a rushed, new vax tech and the evidence of foul play continued to pile up as I watched it unfold.
