Fingers too fat. Need special smash buying wand.

A little late on this. Its definitely a juv Cooper's hawk. The light eyebrow is often distinctive on juvs of this species. They are about crow-sized although hard to tell in a photo. Compared to a sharp shinned hawk, coops have a larger head, eye and longer and rounded tail often with a white tip.

Yeah, last year the dog and i were tracking a wounded deer for someone through a field on showy tick trefoil. We were absolutely covered head to toe in sticky seeds. Many thousands. I shouldve taken a picture.

I guess im reffering to his post 2010 self. Its like the opposite of his past self. He used to be a punk, now he just spews puke... Woke shit, etc.

Hey friends, this is how I recommend saving lettuce seeds for ease and joy!

As with most plants, there are numerous ways to save lettuce seeds, but this results in the easiest cleaning experience.

Lettuce flowers sequentially so seeds dont all ripen at once. You get the seeds that are exactly ripe now, and the plant can continue flowering and ripening seeds. Technically, you can keep coming back for more seeds every few days if you want!

I winnow larger amounts of seeds with a fan, but most people just need a small amount of seeds, and our breath or a light breeze is perfect!

Do you save your lettuce seeds?

Yes i save lots of lettuce. But i tend to pull the plants and store and label them in a covered area and then process as time permits.

Back from another canoe trip.

Same reaction here. Lol. I think the blog is still up with 10s of 1000s of bizarre art jpegs. Its a treasure trove but impossible to search through it all. http://monsterbrains.blogspot.com/

Melons ready! This is actually an F2 cross saved from a hybrid called Sugarcube. Its meaty with a smaller seed cavity but a tad less sweet than the hybrid. #garden #gardening #homesteading #seedstr

Yep. About 17 years ago i saved all kinds of art from a blog called MONSTERBRAINS. I recently found some of them including the pfp. Here's a sample of some others...
