A diversified portfolio has more than kept up with inflation over the long run. Retail investors can buy and hold index funds and ETFs.

That’s a bit much, isn’t it? Different stocks can be better or worse investments, but at least the value of a stock is based on the expected value of a company’s future production.
A bitcoiner won’t be bailed out at the public’s involuntary expense if the custodian loses his bitcoin.
It’s a digital currency issued by a central bank. Like paper currency, it represents a liability of the central bank. FedNow is just a service the Fed will be paid for. Also like paper currency, it’s a direct relationship between currency holders and the central bank, unmediated by other banks. FedNow is a service for banks.
FedNow is not a central bank digital currency. It’s an instant payment/settlement service offered to banks, and will compete with existing services like RTP and Zelle.

No, but memory optimization still does, especially of CPU cache.
I don’t think I understand the question.
Children have unequal parents, yes. That is a different topic.
Oberon is still with us? I remember Modula-2, Modula-3, Oberon, and Oberon-2.
What are the best paid relays for #Monero conversation? I’m already on xmr.usenostr.org. #XMR
Nobody is making more 1990 Chambertin Grand Crus, ‘57 Chevys, or Van Gogh paintings, either. Everyone is born into this world with nothing (except what their parents give them). We build our own personal wealth by producing things that others value, and trading them for things that we value. The fact that Bitcoin has a mining limit doesn’t change the situation.
