Twitter is no exception; they are currently being sued thanks to FOSTA, and sex workers are no longer welcome to do business there. PornHub, like many sites, allows user uploads and sometimes users break their terms of service. Unlike those other sites, they are singled out for persecution by anti-porn activists.
How do you mean more permissive? I thought that, by world and historical standards, US laws are very permissive. The bigger problem in the US is that governments at all levels are willing to use extralegal means to harass porn creators and distributors. For example, the Obama era “Operation Chokepoint” didn’t pass any laws or write any regulations. The Department of Justice just let banks know that although it was perfectly legal for them to do business with the porn industry, they might be investigated for fraud or money laundering if they did. Even today, You can’t pay PornHub with a credit card.
No new hardware needed?
No amendment would be required. The Post Office was established by an act of Congress. An act of Congress could abolish it.
The Constitution doesn't require Congress to establish a post office; it merely grants them the power to.
Do many relays restrict content? I would worry that a porn relay would become a target for censors.

Surely it’s okay to have ambitions? Or suppose I’m a spousal abuser or inveterate gambler?
Aging population vs. declining birth rate.
#[0] and #[1] have the same Nostr problem: they have content to sell and there’s a mechanism for receiving sats, but there’s no way to trade one for the other. It does sound like Matt is happier with Substack than Erikha is with OnlyFans, though.

It's easy to get wrapped up in collecting the latest weapons, attachments, and gear; however, if you don't train regularly, none of it is any good. It's rarely fun to train, but it's critically important. Not only do you need to know how to shoot, but you need to know how to operate under pressure. When you go to the range, don't just shoot from the bench rest. Get a tactical bay, shoot while standing, move and shoot, engage multiple targets, do reload drills, etc.

I don’t know. What are the odds that all of that training will ever pay off? Most defensive gun uses are just displaying a weapon.
It’s indeed difficult to believe that throwing ~ $300 billion at the problem did no good at all. But was it well spent? I have doubts. Some countries like the US spent a lot to fix Y2K before 2000, while others like Russia spent little but muddled through.
My real life identity could definitely be discovered by a determined government, and probably by a determined someone else as well. It’s not like I’ve been careful about connecting to relays only through a VPN. And anyone studying my notes would be able to figure out a few things about my demographics, education, and what country and time zone I live in. My precautions are against people who care only enough to search for me on Google.
You’re very right, which is why I’ve never linked my Nostr identity to my real life identity. I’m more worried about commercial relationships than friends, though.
MySudo offers phone numbers in their paid plans.
There are reasonable objections to #FedNow, the Federal Reserve’s impending instant payment rail, but it is not a central bank digital currency (#CBDC).
Why do think that happened?
