Growing nostr and helping it become more robust will be an increasing focus across all of my work.

- OpenSats is now funding open source nostr projects.

- Ten31 will be funding nostr startups.

- Podcasts will cover nostr more often. Will be ripping a Citadel Dispatch with miljan of primal this wednesday at 3P CT / 2000 UTC.

- Bitcoin Park will have an increased focus on nostr education and usage. We just launched our own private relay for members - in addition to the already existing bitcoinpark dot com nip5 verification.

Walnut and apple cake:

Flour 1 and 1/4 cup

shredded walnuts 1/4 cup

Sugar vanilla 1 teaspoon

Baking powder 2 teaspoons

Cinnamon 2 teaspoons

Salt 1/4 teaspoon

eggs 3

Yogurt 200 gr

Oil 1/2 cup

sugar 120 gr

sliced apples 2

In first bowl, combine flour, walnuts, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder and salt and set aside. In the other bowl, mix three eggs, yogurt, oil and sugar well until they combine.

Then mix these two bowls completely and pour it in a loaf or any kind of baking pan. Now, pick the chopped apples and press a little until it gets inside(not completely). Then sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on the apples.

Bake it in the oven in 340F for 45 min.

why dosent someone create a seed phrase app similar to a 2FA authenticator to help the average joe start their self custody journey?

seems the biggest issue with custodial vs non custodial is that people are nervous about how to store their seed phrase (only a beginners obstacle, eventually everyone becomes comfortable enough to improve their security) so why not give them a decent middle ground to start with?

keep it open source, encrypted, fill it with prompts to learn about different security options + #bitcoin in general and let custodians reign supreme #BrickByBrick

I might consider closing all channels while fees are cheap, and pool your liquidity into one channel with a very well-connected node. Going forward, maybe stack a little more before establishing larger channels. Small public channels don't really do anyone any good.

Modern day politics divide us. It's by design. It's perfectly fine and healthy to have a difference of opinions. This is how we grow and understand our fellow humans. You see modern day politics winning when people jump to personal attacks instead of having healthy debates and discussions. Saying "LOL you're wrong" helps absolutely no one and plays into their narrative. We're better than this. 🫂

Yes. If there isn't enough outgoing liquidity along the paths to the node you are paying, the payment will fail. This often happens when people have a small number of channels with relatively small pleb nodes. The path to the destination might be circuitous with a bottleneck of liquidity along the way.

I'm not saying I know exactly why, but the times I have seen that before, the person had a small number of channels where the peers did not have enough outgoing liquidity along the possible paths to service the payment. Channels should be established with well-connected peers with sufficient liquidity.
