Children want all sorts of things they don’t understand and a lot of those things are extremely bad for them. Children love sweets and candy but it’s very unhealthy and unnatural for them.

Our son is one year old. His favorite food is steak. He freaking LOVES steak. Literally can’t get enough of it. He doesn’t know what it is, but wants it above all else.

I feel bad for children whose parents force them to be vegetarians… it’s a cruel rejection of their nature.

It’s cruel that you force feed your child tortured animal body parts and not allow them to understand what it is.

If your child seen how that food got to its plate he definitely wouldn’t want to eat it anymore, stop hiding the truth from him.

Also humans are herbivores so it’s not in our nature what so ever. Put a child in a play pen with an apple and a rabbit and tell me when they play with the apple and eat the rabbit.

Being class of 2020, this is was the first bear market that I have ever stacked through.

It really clicked for me in 2021 shortly after the second peak. I started researching and stacking like a maniac.

for the past 4 years I have moved all of my wealth into #Bitcoin and worked hard to acquire as much as I could. For a long time I was at a loss in fiat terms, but all that I was focused on was the 2024 halving and the bull run that would follow.

After reading, talking, and thinking about it constantly for years, it is absolutely surreal to see things playing out almost exactly as I had imagined.

I will never claim to be some kind of investing genius or to know what the future holds. However, once you see Bitcoin for what it is the chaos of the world around you begins to make a little more sense.

Here is to my first full cycle as a #Bitcoiner! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. Bitcoin is here to stay and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to it in my own small way!

Very similar for me I bought bitcoin on futures in 2017 made a few hundred £ within 30 minutes during a massive spike. Sold in profit then I bought alt coins and lost it all.

2020/2021 I dabbled in mostly alt coins again and once again lost everything during the crash.

At that point I got invested in researching bitcoin and began stacking at $16k btc. Stacking ever since and kept reading and listening to podcasts and now I’ve probably put 1000 hours of research in to bitcoin over 4 years. I knew the next bull run would come and hopefully I will keep stacking and holding bitcoin indefinitely.

I talked to an author a lot this weekend, and an amusing thing she said was that romance authors tend to be kind of mean, and people who write horror or violent thrillers tend to be nice.

If there's truth to that, I guess the theme would be that people like to write about what they're not. It's a way to explore or express something that they don't otherwise explore or express in their real life.

Im taking an entrepreneurship class where i'm preparing a business pitch.

Considering pitching a value for value streaming platform. Im debating weather or not to dive into the details of #NOSTR or just kind of glossing over that and focusing on lightning for micro-payment streaming.

My teamates on the project are not Bitcoiners and have no idea what nostr is.

I showed them primal today in class and they were impressed by the concept of zaps.

As far as monetization goes i'm leaning towards just saying "we will take a cut of all payments" although the logistics of this are also tricky.

I like the idea of having a paid relay that would be the default host for content, this would allow for a market of relay services to form but again I would have to get into the technical details of NOSTR.

Any other ideas for monetization?

Have you looked at fountain app? Seems similar but they aggregate podcasts from all the platforms and allow you to zap sats as a donation to the creator. I believe fountain take a very small cut

On Coinbase I had 2 recurring purchases setup on a weekly basis (Thursday and Sunday). On strike it seems I can only setup a single recurring purchase, will multiple recurring purchases ever be an available feature?
